Defense really works like that too…a team sport. Get LBs and the Secondary seamlessly  passing off coverage? hard to beat. Not because all of those players have to be All Pro. They play together…gel as a unit. Play as one.

All Pro G steps on the All Pro C foot while pulling….is still going to turn out as garbage blocking.

Seems weird I’m explaining how it’s a team sport here. Just very simple and basic stuff here. It’s just not golf or tennis or something.

All five guys on the line work together. Five is stronger than one.

What if the other team didn't have a clear #1 WR?

Then he gets the day off.

For sure. He clearly just wasn’t going to value S position until it was just that glaringly obvious. He was trading for a S…any S. Rosie got so extremely lucky with that. Add in how Bradberry got cut so very late falling into our laps as well. That part was so lucky when he played fantastic in 2022…not so much after Rosie brought him Back resigning him for 2023-24.

Ok....so like a said a week ago.... " you are sensing that there are vets coming available.... pretty much saying Howie needs to grab one or he isn't doing his job....but in 2022...it was just luck that there were players available... lol.

Spin it baby....whatever works.  .. lol.

Don’t really know if I’m concerned about things. I guess if anything ,with DeJean specifically, would be if we screwed up this super talented young athlete. But really just find his whole situation and surroundings fascinating. What to do? How to handle him or his type situation?

OMG ..it's conundrum....a talented adult ... what to do. .If you put him the slot on May 6th and it doesn't work...we could scar him for life... lol.

You are getting my point...   the OL and coverage units don't necessarily need the one star.   They need to cover everything ...no holes.   Don' let someone get by to the QB...and don't let a receiver get open.  It's a unit.

Winning an individual battle...by being a star...that's more important for a DL or WR.

It seems weird you feel you need to explain this...I agree. Because nobody is saying anything different.

You need the OL unit...no weakness

You need the DB unit...no weakness.

The one star player there with 3 below average guys...it's a problem.

One stud WR...one stud DL...thst changes things.   AJ with us is a prime example... pick your star pass rusher and see the difference without him.

Who is this OT we signed?

Dylan McMahon:

  • His short-shuttle time of 4.33 seconds was the fastest of any interior offensive lineman drafted in the last decade
  • Only two drafted interior linemen in the last 10 years ran a faster 3-cone drill at that position group than McMahon's 7.22, and one of them was Eagles' starting center Cam Jurgens (7.19) in 2022

McMahon only allowed 1 sack last season

Pick a star pass rusher like …hmmmm…Hassan Reddick? The exact guy Rosie just tossed in the garbage bin. Or were you looking for some random made up example?

A bunch of potential S options. I’d spin the tires on Mekhi Becton the ex Jets T

The hope is he was humbled and now is ready to come to work, Becton

Becton had an injured kneecap and missed 2022. Then gave up like a gazillion sacks last season. But you know Stout signed off on bringing him in. Signed up to 5.5 mil contract for one year upon passing his physical Monday

Becton is 6’7” 369 pounder that can do reverse dunks on the basketball court

Fangio tossed Reddick, dunno why, what I've read

Fangio running things now obviously

PFF gave us an A+ for the draft grade

How long will it take for people to stop referring to X as formerly Twitter? X is a terrible name…people just don’t know what you are referring to.

Speedster WR John Ross coming in for a tryout

Hilarious…he’s the one guy I picked out after the draft we should spin the tires on.

Even this has to be " I called it"
