Your statement is they are rushing six and we gave an empty backfield. You blame Hurts here. I’ll add the WR routes are long developing. Why is the playcall in the first place not prepared if it’s such an expected situation? We all know it’s coming yet it’s up to Hurts to adjust on the fly? Doesn’t even make any sense. To me it just shows how the coaches have no answer.

Here is one

No Mas, do you believe WR make reads and adjustments?

here is another pushing the blame away from Hurts calling an audible

Frankly was a big adjustment DCs made against our own O. Hurts was just killing it with the big gain plays. Teams adapted. Our coaches never adapted. You blame Hurts…but he would have needed to override and ignore our HC and OC to do what was needed.

Another here suggesting Hurts doesn't audible

Actually the QB has an earpiece…OC is reading the D. Teach you that little nugget today.

Taking away the call from Hurts

I mean, All these posts clearly stating it's up to the coaches to get the right play call in there. I would imagine the play call is in the huddle?  So that means the players can't hear the huddle?

But clearly, the home crowd was too loud when we were on offense for the first time in 2023... lots of first time fans at the Linc in 2023?????     GTFOH... anyone believing that crap has to be a complete idiot.

But..anything to take the blame away from the players... especially the QB... we know the agenda.

Miles Sanders is a special talent.... Ziggy is better than Lane, who can't play without the usage of PEDs, need to draft another RT because you just can't trust him staying clean.

But what you are ignoring is the adjustments and audibles are all setup by the coaches in the first place. The QB and every other player is just out there trying to execute what is being coached. Coaches teach the players what their vision is of how to adjust to the various situations that arise. Coach will explain that if this O playcall is on and the D is aligned this way he wants them to adjust routes/blocking…so on and so on….which goes all the way to include an audible. Players mostly just try to make the vision of the coaches a reality.

But the fans were too loud... and you believe that?

Malik Nantes said he did talk to his new QB Jalien Dones…yeah just can’t make up stuff like this

Our players on O made the statements. Yes I do believe it. They were pumped and rowdy…so far from a very home friendly O environment. Kelce said so loud he couldn’t even think. The C got called twice for offsides not hearing the call…that’s pretty bad.

As part of a receivers job they make adjustments according to the coverage. This does not require a Qb calling an audible…just the standard part of the job to secure the 84 mil guaranteed for AJ

Ahh... yep

So

once you can get to threshold of understanding players are trying to just execute the vision of the coaching most the time you’ll understand the problem that was occurring. Our coaches didn’t have the answers to get across to our team. Nothing makes it more obvious than when every single person in the stadium and watching at home knows what the D is going to do…yet the coach…calls for a terrible play for that circumstance…over and over. Sure the QB audibles out of plenty of these bad plays. But the QB is just audibling to the coaches solution to the situation. Which clearly there was none. Or there seemed to be one..,probably the quick WR toss out wide. Which in itself became very snuffed out as the coaches only solution to try an counter the situation. You are completely condemning with Hurts Hatred ,for your club, that he wasn’t doing a good enough job as an OC and HC. Which technically isn’t his job. Whole other well paid guys for those jobs. Which everybody else figured out long ago needed to be fired for that exact reasoning.

Yeah.... the earth is flat...how long have you lived in the area???  You know if that was the case it would be the talk of all the sports shows around here.   You watched the games...did you hear it really loud while we were on offense?

Come on ...lol

But the crowd was too loud?   That's what you said.

Provide the links with the players saying the crowd was too loud.

I mean sure it would have been nice if in film story Hurts could have come up with the solution to counter. You know…if he did the coaches job for them. But I will admit Hurts didn’t have that answer either. We proved out that as fact. Siri, Johnson and all the O players did not come up with a solution. It took us down the whole way to the end.

It was the talk. That’s why I remembered it being the case…obviously.
