I really think just the timing of it and everyone seeing a name that made it seem anything. He isn't a slot guy...I saw as a backup outside WR ...maybe. They signed Campbell and drafted 2 guys...if anything, it gave off the impression that they weren't looking for a WR. The next level thinking that someone on here likes to talk about. Imagine each year before the draft..you sign a named vet ..to a minimum deal, just to throw off the scent that you are looking to draft the position? What would be wrong with that...being it costs ...zero.
