May 21, 20241 yr Author Joe,I saw Parker as both an out BU and with possible slot usage in the RZ due to his size. But we'll never know now. I'm kind of glad he made this decision NOW instead of pre game 2

May 21, 20241 yr Author Renfro would be a good fit and a good mentor for ASmith. Would be for this acquisition with ASmith gearing up to take over when he is ready to

May 22, 20241 yr Author 1 hour ago, cunninghamtheman said: This is becoming the state of college Recruiting has been going on since time began. So the smaller schools become like farm clubs. When the smaller schools see superior talent,it would be in the students interest to get them into a larger school for educational as well as athletic opportunities. I think it's great they do this and not be selfish and hold them back at the smaller school. They recruit HIGH SCHOOLERS,so not much difference. If I'm a superstar at Podunk high, but I am poor, I go to a community college or small local college because my parents aren't doctors and lawyers. I would probably never make it to the NFL and they have offered a pathway for them to achieve their dreams. I see no downside to this. We're seeing the benefits of this already as smaller school kids become more draftable especially when they enter the transfer portal to a larger college where their chances increase that they "get noticed". Not many scouts would fly to a cornfield to watch a kid play another small town college,so I think the transfer portal is terrific. If an athlete feels he is being held back,he can enter that. IDK if the school has to release them to do that, but it gives otherwise unknown talent a chance to compete for a job
