Nah, for you Hurts is exempted

You make it hard to get in much of my criticisms on Hurts when you are complaining about him scoring TDs and converting into first downs on plays. I mean this stuff is just ridiculous. Oh no…Hurts got us another first down…terrible! Hurts scored a TD ball hogging winning the game against the Bills in OT…how dare he?

We controlled our destiny last year, and BLEW IT

Which is what Hurts was warning of when we were 10-1 …straight telling you we weren’t playing up to a good enough standard to get anywhere real. We were just overachieving early on. Which is great to do. Kept sneaking out tight victories. But that’s all we could do versus even the lower level teams really. We’ve been going downhill since the SB. Pretty close to repeating the same cycle Rosie creates with the way he does business. I straight told you this was going to happen and why. 2016 building team. 2017 SB. 2018 lesser team trying to get back to that level. 2019 even lesser of a team. Now…2021 Hurts overachieved getting us to the playoffs. 2022 SB. 2023 lesser team. 2024 lesser team still.

The good part is at least this time we cut off the older players earlier. So we are rebuilding with a good young group of guys to build on. So hopefully we can just erase the whole dropping down to a four win team on the Rosie cycle. Can make the playoffs and even hopefully win our division this year would be a nice season for this squad as they grow together.

We couldn’t control sh17! Didn’t even have a LB room that wasn’t grabbed off the streets. Not much of a S room either. Bradberry moved into a retirement home…while on the field for us. Coaching situation Rosie setup was a disaster! We won about as many games as I had predicted.

Yes,there is a need to micro manage what we don't control 🤣

Just making conversation about football here. Parsons talking about how the market will jump up to 40 mil for him. I don’t know everything. Pondered out loud to see if you guys knew of any reason why? As far as I can tell Jefferson was setting the market. The jump from 34 or 35 if you count Jefferson to 40 is significant. Parsons looking to break the bank all the way. Good luck to him. I hope he gets 50. But right now can’t see why he’d be offered more than 35.

A huge factor in the contract situation I noticed with Jefferson was actually more about the guaranteed money being so massive and the length of the contract. You know the Vikes would have liked to sign him for six years instead of four.

The main reason is the cap is going up.  That's why i laugh every time you complain about a couple million of dead money 3 years down the road.

The concept that the cap is going up seems difficult for you to grasp.

Lol...you still don't get it do you.   He isn't going to finish the contract.  Lol why so difficult to understand?

When did I ever say he was going to finish the contract? I said the team would have liked to have signed him to a longer term contract. Is there some way t you are disputing that fact?

Not really difficult at all to grasp that salaries will be rising along with the cap. How can you not grasp that It will cost more?

Especially when you try and defend how we had a 4 win team in 2020 that we were footing the bill of dead money on our future teams for. Brilliant!

How much cap room does our team have in 2025? 8 mil right now. How about 2026?  Less than 30 mil. Seems and feels like it matters to me.

Are we trying to improve or just sell some tickets? I’m trying to improve and contend…to the fullest. But now you seem to be licking up and preaching the true Bronze Standard you labeled the best coach ever with mistakenly.

Did it matter to the 2021 Eagles? Totally hamstrung over those couple of dead millions down the road.

Do you expect the players salaries to decrease?

Denver Nuggets mascot makes 625K a year… I’m in the wrong business

2014 top paid WR ten years ago was Dwayne Bowe at 11 mil. 2024 top paid WR Jefferson at 35 mil. Salary more than tripled. Shouldn’t that be factored in to the cap increasing?

Teams salary cap sure didn’t triple over the last decade. Didn’t even double.

Lol....if he isn't going to finish the contract....why does Minnesota prefer to sign him to a longer term?

Explain why....if they redo the deal after 2026.... why would it matter if he his current deal runs through 2028 or 2030?

But you can't grasp going from 35 to 40 million....the next guy to make a jump as the highest paid non QB?

We got motion on O …AND D coming this year. S been spotted rotating just before the snap fairly regularly. Q played Dime LB again today. Most surprising news so far. We just don’t have a LB that can do it.

"Obviously, on their side of it, they always want deal to be shorter: as much money as possible and shorter, and ours, longer,” Vikings GM Kwesi Adofo-Mensah said. "That [wide receiver] position has gotten shorter in terms, which is a unique dynamic in the market.”

Sounds like Kwesi agrees with me on this.

Ok... so did the NFL come up with official cap numbers for 2025 and 2026?  I didn't see that...where was that official news ?   Because in order to be definitive... and have an absolute amount of cap space...like you just stated, obviously you need that exact cap figure.

But you are intelligent enough to where I don’t have to mention this right?    That's of course before a final carry forward number and any adjustments between now and then.   But you speak with such authority about this definitive number?

What was the jump from Bosa to Jefferson? 34 to 35 mil
