But yeah…I never liked Rosie signing Morrow or Jack. Need to sign a quality player for the second level of the D.

Dean cheap on rookie contract. Cunningham cheap on being a good fit for us but nothing special. So spend something on one quality player to lead that area. Basic.

I wanted Queen. But then he had a mister season. So now he’s blown his value out the roof. So I adapt. Find the next up and coming stud. Azeez. He was cheap so far. But he proved himself now. So he’s upped his value. But one strong year won’t get him the 20 mil like Queen. He probably will fetch 10 mil now. This is how to work things like a good GM. Sign the guys rising. Not so much the guys you gotta pay at their peak price.

And the other 31 teams don't see that? Just you? Amazing stuff. I will take Luvu. I will take him at the way he played this year. Maybe he gets even better, maybe he reached his ceiling, but I will take that without dreaming he will become a STUD,in which case he will price himself out of the Eagles organization. Hurts was so bad after the big money he should give some of it back

Hint,if you want him you have to use pick 22,not rocket science here

Hes consensus being ranked 52 right now. So thinking can use pick 22 elsewhere or trade back big time instead of taking a 52 ranked guy at 22.

Not sure who sees what. Some teams can’t afford to bring in another LB. Some he maybe scheme wise isn’t ideal. But yep…exactly the name of the game is to see the up and coming young players that can be brought in for good value.

So bad he set the all time franchise record.

We know Howie avoids the back 7.It's his history and no reason to change that unless HE changes it. I can't change how Howie works,I can only identify it. Now this draftm has alot of good players at those spots. Still I see no way Howie uses a 1 pick. So I am happy you identified a round 2 pick(as I did in TJ Tampa and Trotter). Now the question is will Howie pull the trigger? I am doubtful

I can’t just accept bad ideas and neglect by our GM as being ‘the way.’ It’s not.

Well we were talking without trades. Sure we can move all over. And probably will, but we have no facts to show where we will move. other teams can move too,not just us

I like Payton. But not taking him at 22. If he comes off the board at 23? Oh well. Go elsewhere. That simple.

If he's as good as you keep saying then why would be last until pick 50? Why would you assume he would be around? You are the wizard who knows??? My guess is as good as yours. he wold need to go between 50-62? With 18 picks prior to ours(without trades) the other 31 teams don't see his rise? Only you and only the Eagles?

I don’t know where he’ll be drafted. I’m loving this draft class though. Real strong. Gotta pull some big talent this year.

The hate was so deep before 2022. Just drilling the poor kid. Then he carried our team to the playoffs in 2022. Then we can’t win a single game without Hurts. Even having a top backup in Shew. We turn things over to a first time playcaller. All under Siri that pretty much proved he can’t successfully run his own O. So the O gets completely figured out. Still Hurts overcame a squad never got on the same page. No playcalling cohesion. Posted the most TDs our franchise has ever had. That’s the guy that it’s so dire he improved and stops holding us back?

Who cares about any hate or love..  the performance on the field is all that matters.    Read a defense and make a throw.    His running is his skill that got him to the league... we just saw what happens when he doesn't run effectively.

Yep,alot of good players even through round 4(RB is not one of those)

You seem to be obsessing about drafting RB early??

You over obsess about investing in the Oline. But then ignore them not doing there job to blame the QB always. You can’t invest always in the Oline then not block well.

3 were pro bowl with the other 2 being alternates.    Apparently individually they all played pretty well.   Perhaps when an extra guy was sent in to blitz or in the box for a run....the QB didn't call the right adjustments?

Agree... that was my attitude with your coach in KC ...when he gave " we have a defense built to play with a lead" the absolute dumbest comment ever when everyone knows the score starts at 0-0.

We just saw what happens to any O that becomes so predictable and foolish. All these long patterns. Hunting for the big play. Hurts is excellent at the big play…I get that. But there was whole areas of the field we barely went to. Lost my voice yelling…just throw a Quick Slant!

You are stretching things. All teams covet those pass rushers and coverage players.

Hurts sucks at the big play.   10 yard runs was your equation for a big play.  On the passing side... he throws up jump balls for big plays.

You will live in 2022 forever.. being fooled that Hurts is some elite QB when he isn't.

"Hurts out played Mahomes in the SB"

Who had more TD passes

Who had a better completion %

Who had less turnovers

Those are things you need from a QB... not rushing TDs.   You take away the rushing TDs.... and what do you have?

His running is the only reason he is a QB in the league.  You have a below average NFL QB without the running.

At this point... you have a new OC who is considered a good one when it comes to the passing game.   Stud receiving targets...  no more excuses.   You can't keep blaming everyone else but the QB himself.

You are ignorant in thinking any philosophy with the Eagles started with the current GM.    The lack of LB and safety.... in a season when the Eagles could have purchases any player they wanted in free agency.

They absolutely neglected LB and S... to get Ronnie Brown, Vince Young and Steve Smith ( from the Giants)  .. they started 3 rookies... Nate Allen and Kurt Coleman at S....and Casey Matthews at LB.    2nd, 4th and 7th round picks.

That's your boy ... not Howie.  Wake up!

It amazes me just how down everybody here seems to be on the best franchise QB we’ve ever had.

WOW he isn’t even close to the best franchise QB we have ever had….  We just going to gloss over Mcnabb????

What like 33k yards passing 234 tds????? Mind you Mcnabb never had anything close to the weapons Hurts had the last two seasons…

🤣🤣😆:chair: His best trait right now is indecision and running then falling down like a little girl in pee wee's

Can talk Nick Foles career was meh but his years with the Eagles always performed and the only QB to win a SB

Cunningham???? We going to act like if he had some good coaching to start his career and catered to his talents he wouldn’t be better???

Jaws different era but won lots of games for us during his time

Yeah Jaws played when you could HIT the QB without penalties before we went to wussieball. I would take JAWS  behind center over Hurts all day long

Put Mahomes,Josh Allen, even Baker Mayfield in and watch this offense take off. BTW I don't know why teams keep rejecting Mayfield. I think he is a decent(not spectacular) QB if someone would keep him for more than 1 year.

Mayfield to Denver??? Hmmmm

Didn’t Minshew drop 34 points against Dallas lmao but if that was Hurts Ham would be on here bashing the D how it wasn’t Hurts fault he did everything to get us 34 points…

Its not that we bash hurts we are all honest then we have you on here who jock rides him to death nothing is his fault it’s always excuses for him for everything just old
