Even with his price tag being such a key favorable part of trading for him last season. Hindsight now clearly shows that the smart move would have been extending Swift immediately instead. Swift just made the Pro Bowl. Can’t even picture Swift’s leverage growing any higher than it is right now. Why would you extend him before you saw results??

March 1, 20242 yr Author OK since you made ME look it up Johnson, why would you spend a round 1 on A C if Kelce is going to play another year(or 2) I'm all for finding a nice C/G who can compete for the RG job,but there is zero way I spend a round 1 pick on one unless I have everything else I need(and we don't). Let another team waste their pick

Several that have that Pro experience already. But haven’t broken out enough to command big money. Right.... at this point IMO the RB market is plentiful. This should keep costs down.

March 1, 20242 yr If you look up the names or watch any of the highlight clips I posted I’d think it was extremely clear what position he plays.

Get the guy that doesn’t have the durability question marks that Dickerson fell over. Has much more upside than Cam.

I will wait for the combine. He will either solidify his spot or he will fall further. There is something they are seeing that I am apparently missing With Trotter I’d think it’s his speed.

Agreed...looking up stuff helps. You should do it when it comes to contracts and salary cap stuff before you make your posts about it, that are incorrect.

Who gets paid out of the group of RBs? What do you think Swift gets? I think Sanders and Pollard contracts from last year.. along with the amount of RBs that are on the market bring the prices down. Just an awful contract for Carolina with Sanders .. and brutal 10 million tag for Pollard. Awful decisions by those teams that will cause some hesitation for teams to pay.
March 1, 20242 yr 21 hours ago, GreenbleedinNC said: SO define "best player" If a top 5 QB drops to 22 do you take him?. If harrison drops to 22 do you take him? And give up spots you have holes at? Mocks are not stupid, they give you insight to players you maybe never heard of which causes you to look them up. Draftek is mock drafts 325 days a year. Scouting never stops now except to watch the SB 1/2 time show. Do you know who Harrison even is? If not,you should,,if you do,then where does he fall and how does that affect your teams pick? Can you name the top 20 draftees off the top of your head without looking? If not,you refer to a mock to find out. I do them ALL the time,so I am stupid but I bet I know more players that fall in our range than you do and who is out of reach when we are on the clock. Doesn't so so stupid to me,so when I post a mock just ignore my stupidity My post was not a shot at anyone here. I just think they are stupid. Personal opinion is all. I think you pay a LOT of scouts to put a draft board and list together. I would not listen nor refer to Mel Kiper or Todd Mcshay or any of those bozos. I would hire guys that know what to look for and have them advocate for draft board lists. Then I would take the best player available with that list as a strategy. Period. Hell yeah I would take a QB if he was my best player available at 22. Same with Harrison. Holes, can be filled with free agents. Every team is going to have holes no matter what. Teams that draft for need and REACH for a position usually lose in the draft. Thats the reason I would always stick with that strategy. So please don’t take offense. Definitely NOT calling you or anyone stupid. Calling the talking heads (ESPN, ETC) obsession with mock drafts stupid.
