Been my concern for a few years in life after Cox and Graham.

I think we need to keep 2 things in mind...maybe even 3

1. The young boys are all a year older now.... that's all of them.    Davis, Carter, Williams, and the 2nd string guys.    That's huge as bodies change from early to mid 20s after years of training.   Plus the mental side of everything involved with the game, that experience helps a lot.

2.  Fangio knows how to coach up things....behind the DL.

3.  We can always add pieces.

Speaking of coaching things up. Our new Dline coach Clint Hurtt impressed me. He feels like a DC in training.

12 win team is pretty special. We probably overachieved just slightly last season….before we didn’t achieve enough by losing to the Bucs. Don’t have a starter on the Oline and missing a starter at WR….isn’t the makings of a special 12 win team to me. Just really feels borderline disrespectful of not understanding what a very elite special players Kelce and Fletch were. Lost our best defender and pass rusher in Reddick. We have Lane talking about how he’s at the end of his career. Any player talking about how he thinks he has two or maybe three years left? Is at the end. Oline depth is a concern. Slay and Bradberry are over the hill. Both starting S are very questionable durability wise. Their talent isn’t anything fantastic either. I like gritty Blankenship. But he’s no all star…and seems to get banged up routinely. He’s not nearly good enough to be playing injured and be a great player. Ceedy takes bad angles and isn’t a quality tackler. Kind of tough to have those weaknesses playing the job of S. I’d argue the top things I’d want out of my S are good angle of pursuit and reliably solid tackler. Next might just be his other area of concern of being able to suit up each week. Our off ball LBs aren’t a strength of this team. Our pass rush isn’t as good without blitzing. Our run D I believe is suspect. Learning under new coordinators takes time. So players new to a system..plus relying on some of these young players to the NFL. I expect some bumps in the road.

https://www.nfl.com/standings/league/2023/REG  so 4 teams were "pretty special",but can't happen here? Despite the after bye collapse?

Hurtt was assistant HC and Dline coach under Carroll in Seattle

Top four teams I’d consider special sure

Dotson has a little time to digest the playbook here some. Think we can get him pretty decently involved early on. Get him right away running some of these YAC Creation plays.

Where do i find that?

My advice.

1. Don't overthink

2.  See rule #1

You can find your scoring in your league settings...but again, don't overthink.

I agree with Ham...take emotion out of it, and really there are 3 Dallas guys that matter.   Lamb who should go early, but if you take Hill, Jefferson or another top WR, no big deal.  Dak is a lower half starting QB,you can take another similar one.... and their TE is a decent play...plenty if guys there too.

I wouldn't go out of my way to avoid them though. But this particular year it probably won't kill you.

Fill your starting roster before worrying too much about backups... and really I wouldn't worry about bye weeks too much with RB or WR..if you have too many one week, that means you end up with advantages the others... but.... definitely don't draft a backup QB, TE, K or Defense with same bye week.

Who else is up? Blake Corum(RB) will be the 2 in LA(the 1 if there is an injury).

Which of them have a better offense than we do? I mean top guns at the skill positions

I would absolutely think he is next man up for the job... as the in training guy..  great description.

so we were 10-1 last year on our way to being "pretty special" before the collapse at the end. Despite that we won 11 games after not being special after the bye

Yeah I’d be high on TE Fergusen for fantasy. Good value pick I’d think.

I took Coleman.  I had to go for potential with pick 10.   I may take a QB if one drops...Nix is interesting to me.  Who knows... I'll let you guys know... probably won't be until later tomorrow.

Yeah McConkey would be a nice pick. TBH I didn't watch Coleman

They have a stud QB. But they brought in other WRs. Like Luke McCaffrey. They aren’t that bad. They’ll be tough for us.

They have a rookie QB.  Potential... you are getting way ahead of yourself with Washington.. lol.    It's just different now, nothing proven yet.

Well look for the WR for the Colts at 20. If he gets that far good pick. Adonis Mitchell I believe

Lions and Niners are better than us. List  of teams compare to us. Bears, Rams, Packers and Falcons, Cowboys. Dotson pickup moved the needle done for me. So hoping we’ve clearly established ourselves as tier two. Might even bump us up to 11 win prediction.

Gotta be honest.... I think both Dak and Ferguson  could be steals..... and Lamb may be a disappointment where he is ranked...some still have him as #2 pick overall.

The rookie RBs are tough…because of their situations they’ve gone into.

Yeah but in dynasty it seems you need a good stable of them

I predicted 11 wins for 2023

9ers are good because of Caff. He is the offense. Aiyuk is good as is Kittle. That's 3 we have 5. I would argue the Ravens are better than Detroit also

Me too. And this team seems 1 game better to me not 1 game worse

He is 5th ranked remaining rookie...2nd WR after McConkey. Doubt he will be there.... this is where pick 20 really sucks...lol.

Yeah they start to dwindle down about pick 15

I’m not so sure on Nix. I like Penix. Think McCarthy probably work out. Nix does have Payton as HC. Just don’t see his upside so much as ….he should be fairly NFL ready. I’m not sold on Maye.
