They were only good when they got Caff after getting LUCKY with Purdy

They’ve been in five of the last six NFC Championship  games.

Hurts has to do it for us also

Who has the better team.... take out the QBs Washington or the Eagles?

You just said how they got rid of their top DL.  I assume you don't think their OL or skill guys are better than ours?

So unless the Washington QB is significantly better than Hurts....rookie year vs year 5.... then it should be about just potential with Washington,  not so much now.

So do you expect us to start one game better this season at 11-0?

LMAO no, I'm not expecting a total offensive collapse like last year. Where did I say we would start 11-0?

Yeah...they matched up vs Dallas and had a blizzard neutralize Rodgers and GB offense and won on a fluke ST play.

This was GB's quote that started it... was just offense... this is why we say you constantly go off the conversation when it seems like it's not going your way.  Was just offense,  and really just the skill guys.

But obviously QB and OL will be the next part of that conversation as both have a direct correlation as to how the skill guys will do.

We’ve been talking about record also. So it has been several posts a part of the conversation also.

But if you see us a better why not one game better the first 11 games?

SO if we have a better offense and we have a better defense(not like 3oth) then that should be good for 1 win?

You didn’t pay attention to the D as any part of that collapse. Pretty weird. They were absolutely atrocious. How many points did Niners put on us? 42. Cowboys put up 33. Giants even put up 25 and 27. Heck Cards put up 35. But no…it was just an O side collapse…ok.

You said they weren’t any good when they were making the NFC Championship games

Ham who do you see us losing to?

How long have they had Caff? You don't think adding him extended that "streak"?

No their interior Dline is their top Dline. Payne and Allen with they drafted Newton high.

And getting lucky with Purdy? You don't think those 2 things matter?

Clearly I think we’ll be better than Commanders…. But they’ll be tough. Clearly their coaches are super familiar with us. Quinn and Johnson(you know the guy you like to point out knows Hurts as well as any coach).

They brought in Luvu strong LB. Drafted a good CB.

2018... 4-12

2020 ... 6-10....

That's 2 of the last 6 seasons.... no shot SF made an NFC Championship game either one of those seasons

They had a strong 2019 season...sandwiched between two awful seasons.   Lucky 2021 season being 3rd place in their own division with the fluke GB blizzard after Dallas imploded.

They had 2 strong seasons after that.

3 strong seasons out of 6.  2 awful seasons

Eagles had one awful season...coaching change in the middle...and still a trip to the SB.  The difference is winning a SB in 2017 the year before your comparison..while SF sucked for a few years.

Now... you can easily see the SF window closing ... age and cap issues.  Eagles have younger core all locked up, so unless you hate our QB... no reason to give SF the edge as an organization.

I didn’t say those two things didn’t matter. You said they weren’t good before those two. I just pointed out the facts of: they were. NFC Championship game good.

Potential... just like clearing cap... just a start.... that's the easy part coming up from rock bottom.  The next progression is another story.

It is now for sure.

4 of the last five …sorry I added one on mistakenly. Still point remains the same. They were good before McCaffrey and Purdy.
