Yeah but in dynasty it seems you need a good stable of them

You need luck too...the opportunity to play and then all of a sudden potential to be a starter.   These are guys that  lot of times don't even get drafted. But those guys who dropped 12 , 14 and 15 guys will probably gobble up a bunch of flyers.

Gotta be honest.... I think both Dak and Ferguson  could be steals..... and Lamb may be a disappointment where he is ranked...some still have him as #2 pick overall.

Lamb probably slightly high….but he’s clearly one of the best in the league…going to be force fed in an O he’s familiar. I doubt Dak repeats last season though.

9ers are good because of Caff. He is the offense. Aiyuk is good as is Kittle. That's 3 we have 5. I would argue the Ravens are better than Detroit also

I just listed off NFC teams for us to contend with. Seems like enough to chew on in itself. Niners have been good for so many years. Well before McCaffrey arrived. But he’s clearly a special player. Many were naysayers against drafting him so high. I’m not real big in drafting RBs high…but him I was about it.

They have a rookie QB.  Potential... you are getting way ahead of yourself with Washington.. lol.    It's just different now, nothing proven yet.

Jayden Daniels is a problem

I was talking about how I’d draft him most of the season. He was ranked as late first rounder most all season. But then went 2nd. Every single SEC player stated Daniels was the toughest player in college football to deal with when being interviewed at the combine and predraft stuff.

I like Penix also. Thought he was worth considering to draft.

Niners have the best LB. Super stud pass rusher. We know all about Hargrave at DT.

Lions and Niners are better than us. List  of teams compare to us. Bears, Rams, Packers and Falcons, Cowboys. Dotson pickup moved the needle done for me. So hoping we’ve clearly established ourselves as tier two. Might even bump us up to 11 win prediction.

Ehhh.... player for player...

CMC .... Barkley... Gibbs

Deebo....AJ... St Brown

Aiyuk... Smith.... Williams

Kittle....Goedert...LaPorta

Jennings... Dotson... Raymond

Idk... we will see...looks pretty close to me.   This is where the QB should make the difference.  I like our group better than Detroit... they play inside which helps the look.

I like our OL better than SF... with them they are relying on CMC and Trent Williams... that's probably the two biggest injury concerns.

This is where the critics make their case against Hurts...  them...not me or GB.  I personally think Hurts is going to have his best season.

Not fluffy stats vs inferior 2022 competition or " most combined TDs because of tush push"... but his best season as a passer and team leader. Legit stuff without the fluff or hype.

I’m not so sure on Nix. I like Penix. Think McCarthy probably work out. Nix does have Payton as HC. Just don’t see his upside so much as ….he should be fairly NFL ready. I’m not sold on Maye.

Not even about the player...just the fantasy situation with Denver...Payton and the weapons...and the need to put up points.

Dak has no running game really...and the force feeding to Lamb...that gets him stats.

so we were 10-1 last year on our way to being "pretty special" before the collapse at the end. Despite that we won 11 games after not being special after the bye

So do you expect us to start one game better this season at 11-0?

He has to prove it.   Plus they need a team around him.  Way too early...as of now, it's just different not good yet.

In my mind Hurts is clearly better than Purdy and Goff

I thought we were talking win loss record and teams. I am anyway

Then we should have the edge offensively.... in your mind.

For me, I like the entire package.  SF top heavy... Detroit fluff up stats playing inside.   And really... should be huge difference for us if we run the ball

No Mas you see McCaffrey and Trent as more injury concerns than what we have?

Both have much better O coaching and scheme. Lions have the best OLine in football. Maybe give a push Niners and us Oline.

So I'm trying to figure out if you are excited or worried, you seems to be both

I like Goedert but can’t say I’d put him above Kittle or LaPorta

They were only good(9ers) when they got Caff after getting LUCKY with Purdy

Which of them have a better offense than we do? I mean top guns at the skill positions

This was GB's quote that started it... was just offense... this is why we say you constantly go off the conversation when it seems like it's not going your way.  Was just offense,  and really just the skill guys.

But obviously QB and OL will be the next part of that conversation as both have a direct correlation as to how the skill guys will do.
