Yeah just makes too much sense for us. Need a blocking TE anyway. But with our potential Oline degraded situation be even more crucial.

How do we know the O line is degraded?

Dallas is the worst…and still going toe to toe with us….should tell you something.

Doug Pederson: Mac Jones has played 'extremely well' but at times reverts to 'Patriot ways'

Great quote provided by Pedey

Why is it a great quote?

They draft well... why isn't it obvious?

But you can’t negate players utilizing their leverage. Ceedee wasn’t going cheap. He didn’t want to sign before Jefferson. A GM can’t just force a player or agent to sign.

They could have signed him last year.. . In a way that is better for the cap.

Rosie wanted to keep Ceedy here all along. How did that negotiation work out? Took over a year …he even left and went elsewhere in between.

Ehhh.... did he really want him here though?  Like at the level he wanted other guys?    Ehhh.... the Eagles don't lose guys they really want... they do have guys that they want at their price....but remember you stated they "set the market with Dickerson "  wasn't Hurts highest paid at the time?  Same with Wentz,  McNabb, Runyan, Lane, Peters...and others over the years?

When they really want the player, they will set the market.  As BG said... CGJ ended up making less by not taking the Eagles offer.  Let's see how your boy Reddick does.

Who said Dallas wasn’t arguably the worst at signing these contracts? Could you possibly pick a lower bar than comparing to the worst?

Again...specifically with the contract part...because both AJ and Lamb signed new contracts this offseason...and play the same position... it's a relevant comparison.  Which you like me to compare any other newly signed WR?  I'll do it if you need?

Jefferson... Waddle,  St Brown,  Hill, Nico Collins?

You tell me... let's explore other teams contracts other than the low hanging fruit Dallas.

But...here is the thing....if AJ and Smith show favorable results... let's just admit it and move on without the usual change the subject or spin.

Just and only...contract structure and cap hit...nothing about the other teams got LBs etc.... only contracts !

I still expect the RG to do his job. I have to wait like you do to see the finished product. I have zero clue if Jurgens is a downgrade or not. Maybe he is the next pro bowl C. Guys retire, you cope and move on. The bigger question is does Hurts trust them or not

Rosie put out a nice statement trying to sell things on Bradberry as well. Made sure to not just sell him as a S but outside CB as well.

Dude... why this obsession about Bradberry ... come on to see the discussion ...you have like 8 posts about Bradberry???  They have Sydney Brown unable to play yet...they kept Bradberry.   We all know they would trade him.   Say it once....it's not complicated or worthy of multiple posts.  Why you giving it this much attention?

Pedey using The Patriot Ways as a very negative connotation. You don’t get it?

Very obvious

Not if he specifically knew and stated he’s waiting for Jefferson to sign first understanding he’s going to rewrite the market

You can’t just force a player to sign because you want them to

Not every player is top of the market pricing. Seems obvious enough. Weren’t going to pay Ceedy top of the market money. Not even close. But let him walk over pretty small change stuff.  Nothing about this is setting the market.

My boy Reddick nonstop harassed QBs while he was an Eagles like not many ever have before him

I’m sure Jurgens will be better than the best that’s ever done for us. NOT!!!! Just totally disrespectful to Jason Kelce. Showing a complete lack of any understanding of his greatness in so many ways to our franchise.

Stuff you just don’t and won’t understand about how he’s trying to bait somebody into trading for him. Good stuff from Rosie trying hard to get something in return from his big mistake last offseason.

Again.... you get obsessed with the one number per year.  Why do you always miss the big picture.

You see average annual salary per... I see money in the pocket. You think Lamb is going to make more money over his career waiting until now to get paid?  He would have gotten the big money up front last year...and set himself up for the next deal earlier... like AJ did.   Btw.. in the comparison,  did you notice AJ with both slightly higher signing bonus and guaranteed salary.   But you see the average.

Keep in mind... Lamb was coming off a rookie deal from 2020... AJ coming off a deal he signed ( 2nd contract) in 2022.   Who you think has more money in their pocket?

You get so swept up in the sizzle... you miss the steak.  But that is your personality for sure.  Always the flash...the name guy

Idk ...why does nobody want to sign Reddick?  Why only a 5th round pick for your LB captain from the Rams?

You miss the big picture... your emotions about the Eagles...makes you miss there are 31 other teams out there not paying Reddick or giving up a 4th round pick for this LB.

Don't you think there must be a reason?   Do you seriously think you know more than ALL 32 GMs?

Seems obvious.... the whole league , not just us...was going to pay him.   Obvious to the rest of us...the Eagles originally offered more than what he got....bad business by CGJ and his agent.  Similar to Reddick.

Except of course when you map out a " Ham master plan"  because obviously when it's your plan...all your guys would sign here!

At least that's how you always tell it with such certainty!

Do I value my opinions concerning these players league wide? Yes I very much do stand by my own opinions. 31 other teams didn’t want to pay Reddick after he was posting double digit sacks what Rosie forked over for him, does that mean he wasn’t worth more production wise than what he was paid here? He absolutely outproduced his contract without question. Absurd to actually think and state that every player is judged correctly market wise across the league. Just not the case.

So didn’t pay Ceedy a fairly cheap contract and paid Slay and Bradberry. Your backing Rosie’s decisions and use of money there?

Absurd to have such a huge ego to think  you know more than all 32 GMs.  💯
