August 27, 20242 yr But you can’t negate players utilizing their leverage. Ceedee wasn’t going cheap. He didn’t want to sign before Jefferson. A GM can’t just force a player or agent to sign.
August 27, 20242 yr Rosie wanted to keep Ceedy here all along. How did that negotiation work out? Took over a year …he even left and went elsewhere in between.

That's pretty solid in the method you drafted... RB, WR.... balance but prioritizing RB.... then same in rounds 3 &4.... didn't over draft a QB ( Richardson should be valuable in leagues that either lower the value of passing or elevate the value of QB rushing) Then I like that you went 3WRs before 3RBs... that's where there are more WRs than RBs so take that value. Solid TE and D....took a kicker that plays more than half his games inside with a team that looks to be in a lot of games. Very nice draft... of course we can't really tell 100% unless we saw who you passed on...lol. Now comes the fun part of picking the right starters each week...lol. Good luck! Well…not horrible is encouraging. I went mostly by what was recommended. I "reached” for Najae Harris RB from Steelers. Got lucky that no one wanted Devonte Smith for some reason.

Clearly if you are a Dallas fan, you should be annoyed at this....and they absolutely are. Those steps aren’t singular on their own. A whole league full of player choices to choose whom to pay what and how much. Always factors into decisions. Like trading for Swift. He had one year left cheap on his contract. Made that move more appealing than some other more cap expensive moves. Like trading for Dotson with two years left on his rookie deal. Financials are always involved with player decisions. There is a salary cap.
August 27, 20242 yr You choose to bring in Patrick Queen. or the guy I had targeted this offseason Al Shaiir. Instead Rosie brought in White ..the player that had been benched instead of on the rise…being his financials were so much cheaper. Cost and talent…equals value. The go hand in hand always.
August 27, 20242 yr Rosie clearly wanted to keep Ceedy around last season. The player choice was there. But he left. Why is that if the player choice and financials don’t go hand in hand?
August 27, 20242 yr Kept Bradberry…probably because everybody was just expecting us to cut him. See if that seals the deal on any trade.

Now we need Hurts to play QB,not a RB who can throw. We've all seen it and said the same, except for Ham who has a polished bronze Hurts statue in his front yard. Hurts personally carries the other 10 guys on offense every play. You should know this LOL He reverted back to bad habits, didn't go through his reads, dropped his eyes when he was pressured
August 27, 20242 yr McDermott didn’t make to cut. Hope he can stick around on the PS. Really thought he’d be kept so we have a backup C. Because they didn’t keep Gates either.

Except he could at least carry over the momentum and some thoughts from what Steichen had been doing. Zero adjustments were going to ever appear without Steichen though clearly. Gotta keep evolving and adjusting in this league or you’re dead in the water. We didn’t have coaches capable of doing any of that. Didn’t even come out looking cohesive at all out of TC.

Constantly throwing off your back foot, forcing throws, not going through your reads, ishty qb mechanics. That isn't a offense scheme problem. That's a qb problem

Practically was our O ‘scheme’ last season: Hurts escapes the pressure then hits AJ or Smitty downfield.

That's a qb problem I’ll give you the bad interception at the end of the Jets game he forced the ball throwing off his back foot. After he injured that knee in the game. He clearly didn’t plant and push off it on that throw. So clearly didn’t have enough juice to stick it in that tight window. He did go through progesssions and reads plenty. Lead the second best O on the league up until the Niners laid out the blueprint. You aren’t able to go through multiple reads when they are sending all out pressure. But knowing this…why would you call long developing route plays? Makes no sense. There clearly was a scheme problem…there wasn’t one.
August 27, 20242 yr There was the issue of the whole offseason their only coaching point seemed to focus on Hurts not putting himself in danger. Spent the whole offseason trying to teach him to be afraid and get down…not make plays. We could see that come out pretty awkwardly. Yet he took a beating last season.
August 27, 20242 yr Let’s see if he throws fewer interceptions this season when every opponent doesn’t know exactly what the playcall is. I’m just assuming Moore is an upgrade with an actual O scheme. Not that high on him…but the bar is set very low for improvement in coaching.
August 28, 20242 yr Took some gambles rolling the dice pretty big on PS. These 17 guys are pretty key actually. The 17th being foreign exemption isn’t so key..but otherwise.
August 28, 20242 yr McCollum, Van Sumerin, Kinnard, Ricks, Patrick Johnson and Booker were the guys that actually made the team it feels like. Good choices. I don’t think Bradberry lasts…so not including him on purpose. They just wanted to give the appearance of he made the roster so you’ll have to give up something in return for his services.
