You pick which guys you want to put in....based on who you think will score more each week. Look at it this way...you draft your roster as a GM. Then each week you select your lineup as the coach. You put the guys in the lineup or on the bench. If they are on the bench they shouldn't count for anything...but some leagues use the bench points as a tiebreaker. Check your league rules. After each week, there is a waiver wire, you can add or drop guys there. After the waiver pickups... then it's first come first serve for any other guy. Typical week... Monday night last game... you look Tuesday for anyone you want to add. Then you put in for a transaction.... and usually Wed or Thurs morning whenever the league sets the waiver moves...you see if you get your requests. If not, you see if there is anything else left. Then if you have players in for Thursday you have to choose to put them in or keep them on your bench. Those players are then locked. And you do this at 1pm , 4pm, etc. After week 1 you will get a feel. Very helpful….everyone’s responses. THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH. Is it a good idea to "drop” guys and add guys or just stick with the ones you drafted? seems like there will be guys like puka nacau that nobody drafted that will be good.
September 1, 20242 yr There will always be hot up and coming guys….but you probably just stick with that team. Just monitoring injuries and matchups to maximize your roster each week.

It's a tough balance with only 5 reserves, plan ahead for your bye weeks also when your stars sit. Nacua would be a great pick up.If he is still around grab him. You must be playing with rookies, he should have been drafted LOL. You have a great team. you can also offer trades,so if you snag Nacua who should be on someone roster, you can trade him for someone to better another position. You have such a good team it's tough dropping any of them, but if your bench is off the same bye weeks as your starters, you can fix that with trades or pick ups. I didn't write your team down but if you have a lesser player i would go get Nacua in a second.
September 1, 20242 yr Author List your 5 bench players again. But you should know if Nacua is better than another you have. Your starters are excellent, what we're working on now is your bench. Then we can check the starter bye weeks. if you have a nice bench WR who is off on different byes than your starters, you really only need 1(barring injury) to pop in and out. However with nacua, you can play various matchups depending on who they are playing that week.

He’s injured right now…so very likely available. Since you have Najee maybe you also want to look to pick this guy up a week before he’s ready to suit up again, but that’s just the very bottom of your roster type move.

Yeah, for Sens sake they call those handcuffs. Problem is they are off the same bye week

Warren isn’t just some backup. He’s a good back. He might not be suiting up week one but could get better and better fantasy play as the season wears on.

I had the choice to draft either... I took Warren over Harris.

September 1, 20242 yr Two high school kids died from football injuries. This could be a big blow to the sport. In case anybody hasn’t noticed the movement just keeps increasing for the sport to be safer. Like how it looks to me like these Guardian helmet caps are here to stay. Wouldn’t surprise me if in two more seasons they don’t mandate all players wear them.
September 1, 20242 yr QB Tyler Huntley did get dropped by Cleveland. That’s the guy we should have as our backup.
