IMO you win or lose your league in rounds 3-6. Those are non obvious crucial selections

Definitely felt this way in smaller leagues I’ve been in but the larger leagues I’ve done waiver wire and those gems have really been the difference.

roster be so thin in my 12 man league

Jack Stoll was the one holdout from practicing. I’d actually think he could be called up from the PS and everything too. Haven’t seen if he practiced today or not yet though.

Didn't see him practice. IDK if they take him to Brazil. I also don't know if he is menatally ready since this new offense is different that what he knew here

He’s not trading up or taking a S high. Only way he would if it was unknowingly. Like DeJean ended up as a S type situation after not working out at CB. Only way Rosie would do it

Hard for me because there are waiver picks I want, yet I don't want to drop anyone LOL. Decisions decisions. Normally I wait1-3 weeks to see trends. Alot of guys will knee jerk and jump on the item of the week. I try to sit back and let them have at it,then when I am waiver choice #1 I can grab anyone i want. That's when I grab a guy like say Adonai Mitchell. He has a few games i and you know what you're getting. Also being at 1 helps when you get a big injury because you can take who you want

Yeah Howie doesn't take DB's now LOL. This kid is a game changer and we have NO clue where DeJean ends up next year/ So I will stand that this pick would be an instant shut down secondary

I'm trying to figure out why loser Goodell gave Dullaz a 2 game exemption for Lamb. So rewarding holdouts are we now???? Sad

Starks is a DB meaning he can play wherever we want him to play

Malaki Starks is an elite athlete who excelled as a two-way star in high school before transitioning to safety in college. At Jefferson High, he was a dynamic option quarterback, rushing for 1,537 yards and 24 touchdowns as a junior. Starks also demonstrated impressive speed as a top sprinter, posting personal bests of 10.55 seconds in the 100 meters and 21.67 seconds in the 200 meters. Standing at 6-foot-1 and 208 pounds, his athletic profile was among the best in his recruiting class

4.35 40. Watch some vids as to his flexibility in going up for jump balls. It's not Howie wouldn;t take him,it's how high he would have to go up(assuming we do well this year).

Oh well that's next year, just wanted to point him out

I guess you guys are right about the later rounds of the draft. Usually just had my queue already stacked with my sleepers to choose from

It's not so much the sleepers etc... that first draft had a limit of 4 RB and 4 WR... by round 13... do the math... if you had 8 picks with RB and WR... you probably took QB, TE if not 2 at both... so shouldn't be a mystery of what you need at that point.   If you still have one RB or WR left...then it means you closed out QB and TE.

Shouldn't take 90 seconds to decide back up defense etc.

CBS puts them on auto pilot after round 1. If you have a ton of auto drafters it will skip 6-7 slots maybe. of course the comp takes your pick, then you have to hurry to adjust,so that can be bad too

You need the 90 seconds to figure out who is left

Nah... you should be prepared... you have 7 or 8picks in front of you..you should be prepared with a few choices.  It's not rocket science

Sure I have them ready, but then you have to look at the position chart and bye weeks

He will go too high for us,but some lowly team is getting a good player. He could end up with the Wuss or Gnats

Idk... I'll draft who i want...I'll only look at byes if I already have 2 RB or WRs with same bye...not to get the 3rd.   Obviously the other 4 spots don't draft a backup with same bye.

With both ESPN and CBS, your lineup is there with the bye weeks for you to see.  I'm already looking at this as soon as I make a pick... idk it seems some people space out after making a pick.

My favorite " you stole my pick " ...when there are still another 10 picks in between.  I don’t consider it a stolen pick unless it's the pick or two before you.

https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/adam-peters-commanders-are-not-in-a-rebuild-we-are-trying-to-win-right-now LOL "recalibration" "trying to win right now" I think they have some nice pieces but make no mistake they have a ways to go. Stuff you gotta say for the FO lol. Next year we may need to take them more seriously, but this year is a learning and acclimation process,so they are still rebuilding. I would bet they beat the gnats

I have my 12 team league draft tonight worse thing about playing in multiple FF leagues is having different teams.

Hate when I have a player in one league and facing him in another lol
