September 1, 20242 yr Author Just now, GreenbleedinNC said: I would put him on my scout team. You have a great team, let the other guys use their waiver picks. Once you get to #1 if Harris gets hurt, you have first shot at Warren. IDK where you are on the waiver list, but I would do that because if Harris goes down there is NO ONE that can take him from you Of course you run the risk he will be picked up as a FA,but if he hasn't been yet, others may be in your boat of not wanting to drop anyone yet. See what the RB split is week 1 and go from there. I suspect as others have said it will be a 1/1B RBBC
September 1, 20242 yr Author 1 hour ago, Senhorcook said: Ok. So I can switch him out even in week 1? I thought I had to field the "starters drafted on week 1. Sure, you can move players on/off to starters and bench. I have Chubb benched and he;s not playing for at least 4 weeks. I can't even sub him in LOL
September 2, 20242 yr Author 1 hour ago, Senhorcook said: BG, you don't have a backup QB? I thought drafting Aaron Rodgers in the last round was a steal. Was it a wasted pick? No,you can even sub him in when the matchup is right. I have Richardson with Tua as my BU,but I will stick Tua in when he has a better match up. It's hard to sit your starter, but you do what you gotta do. Sometimes you keep bench players just so another team won't get them LOL

No points per reception? Does that exist? So WRs are MORE? important? The "guy in charge” chose Mahomes 1sr round…which makes it seem like QB is most important…But Mahomes and Josh Allen were picked before I picked so I just waited a few rounds to pick a QB. OK PPR(which I have never played BTW) means in many cases your pass catching RB's are worth more than the bangers. Teams with good reliable TE's like Kittle or Kelce who get targets every game. Your WR's should be fine. Etienne can catch. Warren probably better(IMO) than Harris in a PPR. IDK the league rules in their entirety. I think your team will be fine. Wait to see how Pitts uses their RB's and make the switch if you need to. JMO

September 2, 20242 yr 2 hours ago, Senhorcook said: My starters are: A Richardson QB J Chase WR (what of he doesnt play?…Im stuck with him and just forfeit a position?) M Harrison WR B Hall RB T Etienne RB D Smith W/T (flex?) Y Koo K Buffalo Defense Chase is arguably the best WR in the game. Not sure a WR has a better connection with any QB like him and Burrow. He’s your gold mine!

I’d say the typical is .5 per reception. So one full point is significant. Adds value in WR that are more possession receivers and catch several passes versus the guys that just look for one or two catches downfield. Big area of adjustment would probably be in favoring RBs that catch passes versus just the pure rushers. Najee Harris considered a more rushing back than receiver. But your team is good. Wouldn’t overthink it.

We played,we bled, splashed on peroxide and Bactine and went back out for more. Today you gotta have everyone kiss your arse and tend to all your boo boo's,tell you you're special and get a trophy for doing nothing. Now it's weak wussies and that's why they get hurt, they never toughened up after leaving the womb because mommy and daddy are too busy for parenthood and pawned that job off onto everyone else. Flabby, disrespectful video gamers with big mouths won't be tough. It's sad to see. IDK why they wear helmets, there is nothing up there to protect How could this possibly be your response to two kids dying from playing football?

Huntley was 1-4 as the starter for the ravens in 2021 and 3-2 in his starts in 2022 5 td passes with 7 ints in those two seasons with what like 3 rushing tds Nothing really screaming Huntley is some massive backup improvement over what we have.

He’s a better more natural backup for our team than either guy we have.

Minshew came in for Hurts our O didn’t drastically change lot of the same plays RPOs were still used.

I think he is a worse backup to be honest think the fact we have slight changes in the play style of our starter v backup actually aids the backup QBs we have had over the years
September 2, 20242 yr Eagles have done pretty well with QB that are quite different as the backup. Mcnabb to Kevin Kolb Kolb to Vick Vick to Foles Wentz to Foles Wentz to Hurts Hurts to Minshew Just the few then come to mind over the years that were different type of QBs and they all had some decent success coming in as the backups

September 2, 20242 yr For me it just makes more sense ,if possible, to have a more similar backup to the starter. If you just can’t find that…then sure just get the best backup possible. I’d say Huntley would be the answer on both those fronts.
September 2, 20242 yr Like zero chance Rosie looks to admit his mistake in trading for Pickett. So this isn’t going to happen anyway. It’s what I would do however.
September 2, 20242 yr So we might be walking into a volatile situation in Brazil. There are some rumors of some protest possible be staged.
September 2, 20242 yr TE Dallas Goedert (oblique), CB Isaiah Rodgers (unknown injury), WR Johnny Wilson (concussion) and DE Jalyx Hunt (oblique) all returned.
September 2, 20242 yr Our QB coach ….Coach Doug’s son is the QB for LSU been waiting behind Jayden Daniels. He’s looking real good in this game in Las Vegas.
