My CBS league has a 16 man roster....all of my leagues do...except I found out the second draft I had tonight uses 2 flex spots so they increased the roster to 17.  Ten teams so 170 picks.

Usually 12 teams with 16 rounds for 192 picks.

I can't get enough people to fire up my private league,but that's how I did it when I started it 17 years ago(I think). In mine the "flex" was 1 spot with either a TE or WR only. Then I split up the D and ST as 2 separate positions. I shortened the draft time picks to 50 seconds. It sped things up perfectly.IDK I am old and my friends are dead an nobody else wants to seem to play. I handed out a cheap plastic trophy also. I also had custom scoring. It was very close to the real game especially making D and ST 2 positions(didn't have to be the same team however)

Every contact sport involves risk,you should know that. Boxing,UFC,football  etc.You should also know there will be some unfortunate issues with contact sports. It cannot be avoided unless you cease the contact. Condolences to the families. Possibly this will improve helmet design even further. My friend became a quadrapolegic as a diver. That is a non contact sport. He hit his head on a sandy bottom practicing at a lake we all went to. 2 of my HS friends died in car wrecks and I watched them die. One burned to death(I tried to run to help but the cops tackled me and held me down which was alot of fun hearing his last screams-NOT). The other bled to death. In both cases they could not get out of their seat belts and I will never wear one again. I'm sorry the 2 youths died.Maybe they weren't cut out for a contact sport. It's a violent game that is what I meant.You have to be tough and todays youth are not as tough now. Should we ban youth football? I don't know that answer. Sorry my response didn't appeal to you. Back to pro ball(risks there too like the Buffalo player who died on the field yet came BACK to the game he loved). If you are going to wait until college to make contact in football it will cut many kids out. What do you wish to do Ham?

I really like McKee. I would love to see him play with the 1's-NOT because of injury to Hurts,I just think he would do well with all the talent we have. I'm not calling him the next Manning,but the kid needs to play with some better people,not the 3's and 4's. Unfortunately he may never get that chance here,but maybe he is happy with the BU job I hope he wins.

In the regular leagues I play in it's 15 rounds with only 5 reserves. This keeps the waiver wire active. Really tests your coaching skills

Our O line will be tested. Will be interesting to see how Hurts responds after he blamed Kelce for stunting his growth

I can see DeJean on a few blitz packages. Going to be a great game. My BFF in HS is a Packers fan. He runs 3 TV's all with split screens to watch all the games

Minshew drops 34 against the Cowboys yet somehow his fault we lost that game when the D gave up 40 lol…. Yup 100% Minshews fault I forgot solely on the QB 

But if Hurts that was Hurts you would be crying how it was the D fault for giving up 40 

Mind you stud Huntley had a losing record as a starter on a stud Ravens team

The turnover that Minshew had was key to the loss....unlike the fumble in the Superbowl where Hurts wasn't touched.." here you get 7 points,  your offense is struggling to get going,  let me help you"   ... just the intangibles of a great human being

Lot of auto drafters? Usually the worst in my league having to wait the entire selection clock for them to take the top rated player 

Got another FF draft tonight this is my 12 man league. After playing in some smaller 8 and 10 man leagues really have to have some luck on sleepers in the 12 man league rosters definitely not as stacked lol

KC/Ravens.great opener. KC run D not that hot. I hope Henry runs all over them. He is my RB in 3/4 leagues. Mahomes will have to be hot to keep up. Also Ravens have 2 good TE's they can't deal with. Ravens get a lead they will bang away with Henry keeping Mahomes off the field. Arrowhead is always LOUD

I'm jealous over Sens roster. I don't see how he can lose that league. Seems like a shoe in with that roster

Nah...tool too long....auto draft makes it go faster.  Was brutal...a couple times they paused because people lost internet connection...just brutal..lol.   I like to make it quick.    We got to the 9th round... as the other draft was starting... just picked the K and D so we could have a full team and then pick the backups as the other draft got underway...lol.
