I’m not going over this anymore for the billionth time when Vic neither would "confirm or deny it” out of his own mouth. Be so easy to deny if he took the Phins job before any of it happened like you state. He’d just say no to the question.

Lol.... he was DC in Miami when they asked him if he had the opportunity to take the Philly job...would he have chosen Philly.   The correct answer was what Fangio gave.

You expect him to say I would prefer to be in Philly, while wearing Dolphins gear at a Dolphins practice?

He took the Dolphins job Jan 29th...  the SB was Feb 12.  2 weeks later.  Gannon was interviewed by AZ after the SB.

Who waits until after the SB to interview a potential head coach for the 1st time?  They always ask for permission prior to the playoffs starting to interview the coordinators whose teams are in the playoffs.

Both AZ and Gannon admitted they kept it from Eagles.

Sure the Eagles after Fangio took the Dolphins job offered Gannon a raise.  They paid Schwartz the top money too...that's what Lurie does...look at Stoutland.    Steichen was already confirmed to take the Indy job... they didn't want to lose both coordinators because that's staff from both sides of the ball that go with the coordinators.

I just don’t understand your logic at all especially when your time line is all screwed up?

You make it sound like they were begging Gannon to stay because they wanted him over Fangio?  Fangio was already out.

He took the job Jan 29.. obviously he was interviewed even before then.

The fact that Fangio left Miami as soon as Desai and Patricia were fired and hired here 24 hours later.

Obviously Fangio wanted to be here if he knew it was possible before taking the Miami job.

" So during the January call, Ossenfort congratulated Gannon on advancing to the Super Bowl and asked if he’d be interested in interviewing for the Cardinals’ opening, should it be open after the Super Bowl, according to Gannon.  "

(Obviously this had to happen after the game, which was after Fangio took the Miami job.)

"Gannon did not tell his then-current employers about receiving the phone call from Ossenfort, which led to the tampering charge. It rubbed Philadelphia the wrong way because it didn’t allow them to plan for replacing him with in-house voice Vic Fangio

ESPN’s sources said that Fangio was Philadelphia’s top choice to replace Gannon if he were hired away.

By the time the Eagles learned of Arizona’s intentions to interview Gannon, Fangio had already committed to join the Dolphins."

How would anyone in their right mind try to spin this as Howie's fault when Fangio agreed to take the Miami job before the NFC championship game was even played ... and obviously there wasn't a phone call of congratulations until after the game.

The hatred for Howie is strong when the mind tries this hard to spin things.  This is the same timeline confirmed by every source.  The contact was initiated by AZ on a call of congratulations for making the SB.  The guy in AZ wasn't even hired until mid January!   Just brutal attempt to spin things.

Blessed with this incredible career opportunity.

Fangio spent part of the 2022 season as a consultant for the Philadelphia Eagles, and ESPN’s Adam Schefter believes that if it weren’t for the tampering situation with the Arizona Cardinals hiring former Eagles defensive coordinator Jonathan Gannon, Fangio may have accepted Philadelphia’s offer rather than Miami’s.

Fangio himself freakin says "it’s possible.” When asked if "he would have been in Philadelphia instead if not for the tampering situation?”

Yes....every game is an opportunity.  That's the outlook all players and fans should have.

Not every game is on such a stage in a Megacity

Yes... yes.... I think it's obvious if there was a hint of a job opening in Philly Fangio would have chosen to stay... and Lurie would have hired him without hesitation .. as the events this January clearly show.

But AZ didn't illegally contact Gannon until after Fangio agreed to terms with Miami.

Why is it difficult to understand?

Every game is an opportunity.   Every game.    All the guys digging ditches and working boring every day jobs for crap pay will tell you.  Football means nothing in the grand scheme of life.  It's a distraction and should be for entertainment purposes for us all.   The players get to make a living...a very good one... playing.  Every game is an opportunity and a blessing.

See whatever you want to see.
I’m excited the season has started. Let’s get it on with some football. Huge matchup tonight. What do think about Chiefs V Ravens matchup ?

I really kind of want to get all these young guys this experience. I’d say it’s once in a lifetime…but it’s never happened before.

DeJean, Shipley,Dean,Trot, Q, Ringo, Cam, Steen…Dickerson…they might not all be ready for the moment….but it’s a huge piece to build from.

It’s another piece of playing under the brightest of lights for the vets. LA…dallas….playoffs…Sao Paulo.

LOL... this is what the whole world sees!   The timeline is right there!  In every report regarding the situation.  Why is it difficult for you to understand?  Can you let your hatred for Howie really cloud your judgment this badly?    You deny all the dates given in every report?

2:46pm on Jan 29th, there was the report Fangio was hired by the Dolphins   ... https://www.thephinsider.com/2023/1/29/23576747/vic-fangio-miami-dolphins-defensive-coordinator-search-2023-josh-boyer

The Eagles vs 49ers game started at 3pm that same day.  At the very earliest Gannon is getting a call of congratulations at say 6:30?  Even though all the reports say it was days later.

How do you spin this as Howie's fault?  Fangio was already gone.
