But again Hurts has 17 interceptions in his last 18 games he has 23 turnovers in his last 19 games.

The decision making and ball security is a MASSIVE CONCERN.

And again it isn’t hating it’s a reality this is happening no not every turnover over the course of rose 19 games were solely on Hurts but plenty were.

And if we mention the turnovers that weren’t on Hurts you have to also then go back and look at the turnovers prevented by players as well the int AJ brown broke up for example.

And I keep bringing all this up because if we can get back to a point like 2022 where Hurts is playing mistake free ball this team going to be tough to beat. Take away the 3 turnovers v GB that game likely isn’t close

Yes.... the only concern from 2023... was the trend of the QB giving the ball away.

And McKinney was lined up inside the numbers and never left....didn't come all the way across... Hurts looked off the sideline and the S moved towards the middle...was an easy read and move towards the ball as we see from the angle behind the QB.

Why would a deep half S be outside the numbers?

Without the pressure? First two throws are completed. Tight windows…but completed pretty likely.

The defense looks to pressure the QB on EVERY PLAY...without pressure a lot of guys could play NFL QB.   How the pressure is handled is what makes a legit NFL QB.

Right.... thanks for pointing out something that even makes the decision to throw that ball even worse

Hurts completion percentage isn’t low

2020....it was low because he was throwing the ball away...making the smart plays ...remember??? Unlike the previous hero ball from your favorite former QB.

Should we tell the league not to pressure Hurts... what other advantages does he need?  He needs all 5 OL to be perfect all game and the first read to be open on a play designed by an offensive genius?

I mean... he is the best all time... but he still needs every advantage?

I’m not all against that throw being made. Think we’ll see it completed several times this season.

Again 3 guys around Smith without counting McKinney that came over. At no point was that a smart throw…. Will we see that route yup will we see it hit yup but it’s not going to be on triple coverage.

Literally no way to spin that play as a good decision on Hurts end

I never said that. But is any….i mean any other player ….responsible to do their jobs? First two throws when Hurts is trying to throw Dickerson’s  guy prevents him from finishing the throw. To me that’s a factor and matters,

I was going on this statement you made:

Of course I’ll be the only one to actually point out anybody else other than Hurts not going their job.

I'm sorry but now I'm confused.

Yes, everyone is responsible for their job.

I understand the Hurts Haters have their agenda to fulfill. I just am looking at the whole team. Highest paid G in football got beat so many times in this game. Look at the stats and see how often his guy Slaton was even involved in the plays. Those first two throws….Dickerson doesn’t even put up a good resistance. Just bull rushed straight back into the QB. His guy effects both throws.

Again, not a Hurts hater. I just want to see him be the best he can be.

Ok... I'm sure we all watched the game... remember the play we thought the GB player jumped offsides or whatever on a play where Lane didn't move and the guy went around him for a sack.

Tell me how PFF says that he didn't give up a sack, QB hit or pressure...the guy went right around him!

Who do they blame for the sack... the refs?  It has to be Lane??.

Getting hit when you are throwing can turn any QB not to look good. Especially when you’re stock in the pocket in your own Endzone.

Cover two deep S. If he just gets to drive the throw he isn’t worrying about the other side deep S.

Are we looking to hold any other players accountable as well here? Or just Hurts?

Correct...getting hit when you don't see it coming... absolutely.   When it's right in front of you... that's when the QB has to make a decision to avoid the disaster.   Avoid making a zero play...into a negative play.

Sure.. just the other 3 guys that were in coverage.

Nah. MLB trying to run with him up the seam. The idea is get the throw out short of that deep S on that side of the field. Just those two defenders should be dealing with. Dickersons  man just got pressure so quick that he effected the throw. Didn’t drive it…and it hung. Allowing that third defender in McKinney to make his way over into things.

Basically that’s the decision. Can DeVonta be a good bet to beat the MLB up the seam if the ball gets there short of the deep S? Which really isn’t a bad bet. MLB inside…. the throw needs to be on the outside shoulder.

Nah.... open your eyes... forget the " idea"  ...again it's a big part of playing QB...you have to read the field... things don't always work how the " ideas" go.

On that play... however you want to keep spinning for your boy... he shouldn't have thrown it.

McKinney is already damn near on Smith, the DB is in his pocket and their is another S out of the picture in front.
if the ball is under thrown which is was DB should break it up unless it’s an unreal play by Smith(still not a good decision on Hurts end).

If he leads in front of Smith S overtop is making a play.

Then obviously McKinney who comes over and is making the play mind you he already breaking toward Smith before the throw

So at no point is this a smart decision or throw on Hurts end nothing is changing the poor decision. Especially when you add in the fact it’s the 1 drive of the game was no need to force that throw which makes the decision worse

I love that we can mix and match for any opponent we play. Now add Wilson in there when he heals up and we can dial up whatever Hurts needs. Rather disappointed in ASmith, not transitioning well at all. We will see if he can work his way to a spot, but now it's very difficult for anyone to take a WR job

Think this screenshot shows exactly what I’m saying. MLB is inside…so the throw should be on the outside ….short of the S. You would have liked more separation. But you are betting on DeVonta vs the LB. Throw just had to be driven more and couldn’t hang like it did.

But you can’t say there were three defenders in the area plus McKinney.

I’m looking at that screenshot and still thinking that throw is there…McKinney is a good player though. He comes in extra…with a good jump.

Tough to see here with the goalpost and all….but you see the gold Packer pants on Hurts at the end of his throw.

Pretty good view of how the openings are appearing with the D coverage. Think on the right that’s the Slot DB. But he’s squating and DeVonta is past.
