I need your help, experienced fantasy players.

i picked Marvin Harrison early thinking he would be a STUD. He got one lousy point. Do I just dump him and find somebody else?

I would have won with ANY of my other guys. So dumb!…me obviously….but how would I know he would suck?

Addison VIKINGS

McConkey Chargers

Williams Lions

Lockett Seahawks

Hopkins Titans

all those guys are available. I "think” I can take any one. I just don’t know if it is wise after ONE week. Advice please!

Maybe bench him this week until you see some break out, I would not drop him. He is a potential stud for sure. I'm biased fro McConkey

He IS a stud!!! Problem is he has an IFFY QB. If Murray gets unleashed he will come on strong for you. If you feel better benching him this week then do that.Usually when i bench a guy he goes off for 30 points

PFF had Hurts rated lower than DanielJones week 1

That's another in a long list of reasons why I don't care about PFF and their ratings

We wanted production from the slot and in 32 plays he was ignored. You aren't getting production that way

Christ it was one game and he's been here 2 weeks...he was thrown at once by Hurts and should've been picked.

No need for all the drama over week 1  stats. Shipley, no carries or targets...why did we draft him..Gainwell 1 rush, why are we carrying 3 RBs...

it will all change but the top guys are getting the ball every week.

Yes week 1... the game they prepared for all camp.   And yes PFF is not the best system with its point value and not taking into consideration all the context of the plays....

But both show a poor game from the QB with the instincts of doing the same things ....same reads etc.

Pretty sure seen something Smith was being used in the slot quite a bit and was having good production v GB…. So we were having slot production…. Just not WR 3 production but not worried about it yet Dotson was here what a week before the GB game not exactly a ton of time to learn a new O.

We got him on the field though and he was targeted I believe 3 or 4 times though they didn’t connect think Dotson will be fine though and we will see him get more involved sure Moore will find ways

Moore O against GB honestly has me excited to see what else he comes up with… pretty interested in seeing more of the 2RB stuff with Barkley and Ship

No one is panicking but we haven't had slot production for eons

So rewatching some here I have to change my opinion on cutting Cam a break. When you take into account Becton was tapping him to snap the ball it really doesn’t even make sense Cam just snapped the ball.

Those first two pass plays Dickerson was just on skates. He didn’t have a good game. Was very clearly beat a few times later in the game. His guy was effecting QB throws way too much.He did have two very noticeable excellent blocks. Think it was Slaton whom we seemed to have heard his name called so much.

Couple of very strong moments for Hurts on his calling the protections…and Hot Reads…can it actually be possible?

Its good you stick with your opinion on Hurts, but you do see the very poor decisions he made in the game, right? It’s ok to acknowledge his mistakes. It doesn’t mean you aren’t still his biggest supporter. The near pick 6….oh man that was awful….I mean awful! Watching the game back…it was a LOT worse the 2nd time. Same with the decision to throw the 1st interception. Watch it from the QB view camera. Absolutely zero chance for the Eagles to catch the ball inTRIPLE coverage. Yikes.

He is the Eagles’ QB. All of us here WANT him to succeed. Let’s go Hurts. Learn from your mistakes and make good decisions.

Watched that endzone camera view and you could clearly see that Dickerson terrible pass blocking has his man coming into Hurts. Hurts should have got it out sooner. But Devonta has his guy shielded to one side. Two high S. So he needs to get it out before that high S becomes a problem. Dickerson man keeps Hurtsfrom kind of finishing the throw. So the far S can even come across and snag it.

Same thing happened with that first throw. Dickersons man interfered with the throw. So it was slightly high to AJ…he couldn’t haul it in.

Hurts can’t drive through either throw because Dickerson failed at his job. Of course I’ll be the only one to actually point out anybody else other than Hurts not going their job.

Yes. We ALL know Hurts is perfect and a master at his craft:rolleyes:

The game of football revolves around the QB making decisions.  The defense ON EVERY PLAY...  ON EVERY PLAY....  attempts to make it difficult for the QB.

A big part of why some people consider Brady the GOAT was that he took zeros ... made decisions to kill the play and throw it away or take a sack, whichever was the appropriate move.

Ultimately...it's on Hurts ....not to  fumble in the SB, not to take a safety vs Tampa,  not to throw INTs vs Green Bay ... same as it would be for other QBS

A play isn't there....up to QB not to make it worse... that's part f playing the position.

If everyone blocked and was open on every play...then any QB could do the job. Part of why Hurts and other starting NFL QBS have their jobs..and get paid ridiculous money....is to avoid compounding bad plays into worse ones.

Hasn't made a bad play since entering the league...always someone else's fault!

I never said that. But is any….i mean any other player ….responsible to do their jobs? First two throws when Hurts is trying to throw Dickerson’s  guy prevents him from finishing the throw. To me that’s a factor and matters,

The first throw to AJ is a bit high in tight coverage. Hurts second ball floats on him lacking some of the needed zip. Both times standing in the pocket in the end zone.
