This is when he’s throwing. Outside shoulder to Smitty looks pretty good, right?

Think this screenshot shows exactly what I’m saying. MLB is inside…so the throw should be on the outside ….short of the S. You would have liked more separation. But you are betting on DeVonta vs the LB. Throw just had to be driven more and couldn’t hang like it did.

But you can’t say there were three defenders in the area plus McKinney.

Ok I was slightly off my bad just 3 defenders with McKinney still was a terrible decision.

Mckinney and already breaking on the throw you can see him facing the middle of the field

Again as a QB in year 5 first series not a play that should have been risked especially when you see AJ brown on the sidelines if you want to be semi aggressive throw a ball up on the sideline where it’s either AJ catching it or going out of bounds the way smarter decision on the first series of the game

Because he is throwing. McKinney made a great break…but he’s pretty much on the opposite numbers. Even he…needed that ball to hang up there.

That was the exact play before.

Again there is no way you’re going to spin this as an even decent decision by Hurts to me it was a horrible decision made worse by the fact it was the first series and we had zero reason to force anything.

I just showed you a screen shot showing exactly where the throw was open at…to our big time WR.

Almost a twenty yard window between Slot DB and deep S.

And I think Hurts had some great throws v GB just a lot of questionable decisions.

My favorite throw was a pass to Smith to move the chains that he point low that only Smith could make the catch and let him avoid a hit.

Barkely TD was put in the perfect spot was either Barkley catching it or incomplete

AJ TD great deep ball let him catch and run. Etc.

a other great play was a blitz adjustment by Hurts he let a free man come in stood in the pocket took a good hit but completed the pass to AJ for a first down pretty early in the game(pretty sure it was AJ at least).

It wasn’t all bad but the INTs they were bad bad in terms of decision making and that won’t change

And this is also from me who defend right off the bat when he got blamed for a fumble that was 100% on Jurgens.

No issues calling out who is at fault but the ints that’s on Hurts poor decision and a trend that has been going on since 2023

He took a big shot on that one. But yes…he got it out.

Another part of the game plan that concerns me is the read options…. Maybe it was just GB but they had them shut down…. Couple looked like Hurts had bad reads but it’s hard to say if he gave to the RB if it would have been much better. But at least would have been 1 less hit to Hurts

Tush push didn’t look good either we went what 2/4 I think honestly would rather ditch that as well or use it sparingly. We got Bark and a good OL if we cant get a yard that’s an issue

I want to see Hurts go more into the Mahomes/Rodgers if he is going to run do it from broken plays help him avoid hits as much as possible.

As much as I think the way we use Hurts and his play style will get him hurt I’m honestly not rooting for him to have an injury and I’ve been pretty adamant about using him less as a runner

The RPOs didn’t look good. Teams have a ‘tell’ on when we’re running RPOs it appears.

lol think the Falcons might have messed up Cousins not looking 100% have to wonder if he is forcing himself more because of the Penix draft pick.

Ahoudl favor us Hurts is good against zone which is why ATl favors to run on D and though I think the ATL young core is going to be good with the right QB an  it 100% cousins isn’t that

Here you go Ham. Ojomo might get more playing time.

The Philadelphia Eagles issued their first official injury report on Thursday in advance of their Week 2 game against the Atlanta Falcons (the Falcoholics lol) on Monday Night Football.

The Eagles listed one player under LIMITED PARTICIPATION: Milton Williams.

Williams is dealing with a foot injury. It’s currently unclear if he’s in serious jeopardy of missing Monday’s game. If Williams can’t play, the Eagles have five healthy defensive tackles on the roster: Jalen Carter, Jordan Davis, Moro Ojomo, Thomas Booker IV, and Byron Young. Ojomo in particular could see more playing time if Williams isn’t able to suit up.

The Eagles listed two players under FULL PARTICIPATION: Devin White and Isaiah Rodgers.

The throw shouldn't be made.  AT ALL!

I’m looking at that screenshot and still thinking that throw is there…McKinney is a good player though. He comes in extra…with a good jump.

Lol.. there is a safety behind the play just off the screen...at no point should Hurts be throwing the ball there.  Enough already here!

Nope..it's covered... by the other safety.   Your boy doesn't have the gun of an arm to get it in...bad decision period.

This is a great picture... looking at this... you can easily see the decision here is the wide open ( Shipley or Goedert) right there on the 5 with all that YAC creation in front.

He breaks before the throw.. Hurts looked off the left side toward the middle....basically giving away the play. I'm sure Hurts was crucified in the film room.    Especially without his childhood friend there coddling him.
