He made comments on social media that lead to a league drug test…think on a fairly unusual day even. My assumption is he told on himself and got busted. Really a waste to have a player of his TALENT….just rise and fall so hard….so quickly. You would have thought how he handled his contract season in Tampa which lead to his low market showing would have been all the wake up call needed for many players.  Need more details and specifics …on what he actually was taking. There are very many ways he can find packages and rotate him in. I’d consider first down usage…and short yardage stuff. Trickiest issue being the Green Dot player in Dean. If he’s out there with Dean….he needs the regular helmet. If he plays MLB instead of Dean he wears the green dot helmet. Workable….

White release is meh was kinda hoping he would take over for Dean just because we need a change at LB but not sure he was an upgrade. Trotter maybe gets some looks?Â
October 9, 20242 yr No clue if he could even do it but considering his lack of size would Nolan Smith be worth a look as a more traditional ILB? He had the straight line speed not sure on his change of direction that would likely be needed to help him in coverage. He is under sized for a edge rusher but pretty good sized for an ILB at 6’2 240. Could then look to give his edge snaps to rookie HuntÂ

James Bradbury I’d image will be coming back soon image we still look to deal him for whatever we can get. Maddox getting replaced by Dejean and Brown returning could make him expendable would we will to deal him for a late draft pick?Â
October 10, 20242 yr Other things looking for this week against the browns Offense- getting started fast score some points in the 1st qtr. and sustain a quality O for most of the game. Defense-  Browns have been one of the worst O in the league Watson one of the worst QBs should be a game our D has success in. Lastly win the turnover battle the D hasn’t been producing any and the O been turning it over to muchÂ

Have to wonder if there is a player target we would consider as well obviously need a LB(though we don’t value the spot) but cheap guy final year of deal? Sounds like a Howie targetÂ

Bradberry is just stashed on IR because we paid him. Break in case of emergency player you might as well keep than getting some super late pick.

But we don’t really want Bradberry we moved him to S and we are getting Brown back plus we played Maddox at S most of the offseason injuries led him to the slot mainly Dejean getting set back. With Dejean taking over and Brown returning would seem to me Bradbwrry and Maddox are expendable and guys we would want to get rid of. Sweat yea I’d move him for what we can not like our pass rush has been any good and freeing up playing time for Hunt at this point seems like a good moveÂ

October 10, 20242 yr If we got a second round pick for Goedert….pretty much get us a new TE in the next draft with it. The ever evolving cycle. Been pretty good at drafting TE and the draft has been supplying them fairly consistently.
