I will tell you.   The division can easily be won, from there...playoffs are 13 weeks away.  That's a lot that can happen between now and then.   If the trend starts that the QB doesn't turn the ball over...that gives us a chance in any game.

Playoffs? This team? Hmmmm. Ok. I don’t see it. Hope you are right. I too am less than excited about this Eagles’ team. Just very average. No identity. Defense is meh. Offense is meh. Barkley is the best player and already has made some dumb plays. Not rushing out to buy more Eagles’ gear this year. I do enjoy Smith’ professionalism. Need more like him!

The talk is... Howie wanted a 2nd round pick.  Nobody was offering that.

The Jets gave the offer.   Howie knowing the Reddick situation,  thinking it could blow up in the Jets face and they could be forced to trade him...   would understand that the Jets would prefer NOT to trade him to an AFC team...especially if it ends up being that they lose out getting a worse pick than they would give us.

So it's obvious they would prefer to trade him to an NFC team.    The clause was put in so we get the 2nd round pick that Howie wanted in the first place. 

So the Jets are the ones having to deal with it.. either trade within their conference...or to the NFC.  By forcing the pick to move to a 2nd rounder if an NFC trade is made...you would also assume the Jets asking price would be higher....forcing the NFC team to give up a better pick

When you take the stick out of your a$$ and look at it from pure business point of view ( which I know is hard for some)

The clause does 2 things

1.  Provides an opportunity for the Eagles to get a 2nd round pick.  

2.  In theory should force a higher pick to be given from an NFC team over to the Jets. 

Both business wins for the Eagles. 

Of course...it doesn't matter until another trade is made and another team is willing to deal with Reddick.   So far all silent on that issue.   

He is such a great player, just don't understand why what would be his potential 6th NFL team doesn't want to pony up the pick and the money for him.... all time great here ... must be a joy in the locker room too.

Or. . It's a conspiracy with Howie and Joe Douglas.....similar to Hurts hypnotizing the Titans owner not to offer AJ a contract.... Howie and Joe are doing the same to the rest of the league.   

30 other GMs were manipulated by Howie and Joe not to offer a 2nd round pick or pay Reddick.    I mean who is better Reddick or Lawrence Taylor... it's close 🤦

Jalen Hurts has thrown to the middle of the field on 8% of his drop backs, which ranks dead last in the NFL. The next closest QB is at 15%.

 

Im just curious as to why this is so low I get favoring the outside but we are taking away such a huge part of the field when we don’t attack the middle….
