That’s a pretty tempting offer for guys who are 50ish and likely have other jobs. Hopefully this doesn’t get replacement refs level bad

So training camp is actively happening?  I'm so out of the loop.

Good article.  Yep, been saying since we got him that with Slay shadowing guys, it will affect the entire secondary, including who we put on the opposite corner.  I like Rasul's game when he can bump and cover.  I like Sidney's game when he can mirror.  I don't know if both will be viable now that Schwartz can better disguise coverages.

I also think about at the change to a defensive set that allows more traditional blitzing, and if we'll eventually fall into the trap of getting beat by offenses guessing correctly.  Though I think philosophically Schwartz will continue to use our DT strengths and rush with 4 as much as possible.

Yup. Too bad we may not see it this season. If we do then it'll probably only be for a couple of weeks

60 minutes on grass with position coaches. Just shells. Don’t think any installs are allowed. IIRC, only certain positions can have a ball.

Great coach to help Scott. Teach him and Killins how to hide on the butts of big OL.

I'm late to this. Wow.

He was one of the guys I had in mind for the Eagles in the 2019 draft; this is why so much of drafting is beyond the average fan.  Have to believe there was probably something in his background or pre-draft interviews that gave a few teams pause about him.

There are probably a few evaluators who are not surprised in the least.

I wonder if teams have private investigators to find out about off field things that scouts don't see

Welp.

Yes, it was felt all across the Charlotte area.

From Spads regarding Brown...

"...the love of the game just isn't there any longer. He simply is walking away from the game. No hidden agendas. No unusual back story. He's just done with football. That's the word.”

This team’s view and roster selection at linebacker is straight up embarrassing

Nice pro evaluation Howie lol.... F’n joke. He will join the long list of LB flops yet the one that they actually hit on in LJ Fort they cut!!! Can’t even make up how bad that is...

He's only 26

It’s all good, we got the coaches favorite "white snake” to seek & destroy at LB 😂🤣😂🤣

If we need to add a veteran body at LB who has the requisite speed Darron Lee still is available.

Can’t be any worse than what we currently have... They should be looking to try and get Avery Williamson. As long as his knee checks out, he’s pretty darn good and would be a breath of fresh air from what this team usually tosses out there at LB

Schwartz never really seemed to care about LBs anyway 🤷‍♂️
