He is too slow for this NHL.  He was never fast but he had quick bursts.  Since he doesn't have length, speed or power, he might be a 3rd liner at this point of his career.  I still see some value in him for the PP and he can alternate between the 2nd and 3rd line this year, depending on how he and those lines are doing.  I think he is still decent at faceoffs also.  He might be a prime trade candidate at next years trade dead line since that is his contract year.

I was saying that under the assumption that he is not working well with the current group of guys.  If he is clicking with them, no need to trade him and then decide when his contract is up whether he is worth a re-sign as a 3rd liner or not.

Yeah but I’m not sure he has the kind of mentoring abilities of say a Jagr or a Briere.

Except G is actually still good and not a giant a-hole like Peters. So really he's nothing like that

If the top six can get going, this bottoms six is monstrous. I hate braun so seeing him on the first pair sucks but I expect it to change 

 

Same issue as last year on that goal leaving guys all alone at the back door.
