More people in Iran identify their faith as Muslim (95%+) than are ethnically Persian (60%).

So yes, not every single Persian is a Muslim but the overwhelming vast majority are. Not only that, but the overwhelming vast majority of non-Persians are also Muslim.

So again, WTF was your original point, other than you got confused between ethnicities and religion. You can try and hide from this as much as you want but anyone with an above room temperature IQ, to use your words, can see this clearly.

Now that I'm off the course I can respond better.

For starters I was not confusing religion with ethnicity. The majority of Iran's population is ethnically Persians that are rooted in ancient Iranian history, language, culture, etc that long predates Islam. While the vast majority of Iranians are Muslim, labeling every person in the country simply as "Muslim" because they are brown overlooks the ethnic diversity between Persians, Azerbaijanis, Kurds, and other groups. Even when one religious group forms a majority, it does not erase the different identities within the population. Especially, when many are becoming secular, which is no surprise under that regime. Ethnicity reflects ancestry and cultural heritage, whereas religion reflects belief; they are separate dimensions of identity. So yeah, cat guy calling everyone there Muslim is idiotic and rac**t just because they are in the majority. You all can try to cover his BS as much as you want because women stick up for each other, but it's still stupid as F.
