As it turns out, we aren't again fighting Cuban mercs with crap equipment. If only we had a history of western powers fighting in the region, with their own anecdotes, like maybe Britain saying that a pillar to keeping the peace is to ensure that there's no turmoil in Persia.

BTW, for those not keeping track, there hasn't been any regime change in Venezuela either. We're skimming about half their oil profits and that's all that happened there.
