Not only did he not "try to avoid war", he F'd up every step of the way and is responsible for it all getting this far.He campaigned in 2016 against a nuclear deal that took 98% of Iran's highly enriched uranium, shut down 75% of their centrifuges and put inspectors on the ground in Iran making sure they weren't restarting their program. Then he tore up the deal for reasons and said he was going to negotiate a "better deal". Then he failed to negotiate anything and Iran started their program back up. Then he ran on specifically not going to war with Iran. Then he won and within six months he was bombing them because according to him they were about to have a nuke. Then he lied and said he "obliterated" their program. And then 6 months later he said they were again about to have a nuke. Then he started a full on war with them and now he's about to send in troops and get us caught up in another endless war.Only with the most incompetent, most dishonest POS of a President in American history with literally the dumbest supporters in the entire world could any of this happened.

With the launch of missile strikes that took out the regime leadership and all the bombs we've been dropping in Iran and the American casualties we've had so far, I was starting to worry that we were engaged in a war with Iran. March 4Mar 4 For the military guys in here who know more than I do, what does the sinking of the Iranian ship off of Sri Lanka do to the government's argument that this is a "special operation" and not a declaration of war? That's pretty far away from the theatre, which to me screams more generalized war than targeted strike. But what do I know.
