Well some say it is just a military strike. A big beautiful military strike like no one has ever seen before.

The gaslighting is off the charts even for Trump and his lackeys.

Remember that Obama war with Syria and Libya that went on for weeks? You are right about the gaslighting though

Obama since you brought him up hit Libya for how many weeks? Same with Syria. And again like I just listed above they've killed 1k Americans since 79. We have already been at war with them.

Ok so.... War Powers Act gives POTUS limited powers to engage in conflict without the consent of Congress.

Libya was engulfed in civil war. Same with Syria. Libya was NATO-led coalition. Syria was in response to chemical weapons deployed.

The circumstances are not the same in any conflict.

For the military guys in here who know more than I do, what does the sinking of the Iranian ship off of Sri Lanka do to the government's argument that this is a "special operation" and not a declaration of war? That's pretty far away from the theatre, which to me screams more generalized war than targeted strike. But what do I know.

We have kind of had a thing for the Iranian navy since Reagan. They looked at the proportion again?

Yeah because nukes are involved in this case against the largest state sponsor of terror who has killed 1k Americans since 79 when they declared war on us. Either way like you said it's been done before. We are 4 or 5 days in.

They thought they did and did destroy the buildings but they had hidden uranium in another location so they are finishing it right. Your position is why people say Trump derangement. Iran is not a threat-Mike.

So trump was wrong and we didn't obliterate it and set back their nuclear program years or decades

I never said they were a threat

Also if Iran is not a threat then why bomb them?

So where are these nukes? US has killed 1k Iranians since the bombing started on Saturday.

Trump must report to Congress and explain his actions.

Because they evidently are. They didn't fully take them out last year. You can take pride that we didn't. They just destroyed the site but they hid the material it seems. He saw intel, they provided that intel to Dems today, I remember last week Chucky S came out of the meeting and said he needs to make the case to the American people so he saw something as well, and he acted against that threat.

Syrians? Damn that is a problem. They shared the intel with the Dems today actually.

For sure I agree with you but I also think killing the leader of another country and killing slews of other leaders of that country and adding in the sheer volume of the attacks is far more of an indicator than sinking a ship part way across the world.

Iranians

I know but that was funny. They had a classified briefing today, though.

Your link says facilities in bold so that's on you

Your link says facilities. So that's on you

Take it from those who actually know:

Israel Atomic Energy Commission: We assess that the American strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities, combined with Israeli strikes on other elements of Iran’s military nuclear program, has set back Iran’s ability to develop nuclear weapons by many years.

IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir: I can also say that we set it back by years, I repeat, years.

Vice President JD Vance: we feel very confident that the Fordow nuclear site was substantially set back, and that was our goal.

Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard: Our missiles were delivered precisely and accurately, obliterating key Iranian capabilities needed to quickly assemble a nuclear weapon.

Institute for Science and International Security President David Albright:It will be a long time before Iran comes anywhere near the capability it had before the attack.

Institute for Science and International Security Senior Research Fellow Spencer Faragasso: "Overall, it may possibly take years for Iran to reconstitute the capabilities it lost at these facilities.”

So "years" in MAGAspeak actually means 6 months?

6 months ago the White House said it would be years before Iran could restore the nuclear capabilities they had before the attack. What happened? The world wants to know.

I asked this question on my congressman's page. I was told by my fellow constituents that I'm "siding with terrorists" for asking.

As soon as we drop some bombs out come the jingoes.

Well, you all need to pick a side

He destroyed them then and now it's for no reason

He didn't finish the job then and now it's valid
