Wait, wait wait! So now Trump is going to knock down the entire Kennedy center because he can’t put his name on it? Talk about a week arse president. This guy is an absolute disgrace.

One of the arguments sexists make about not voting for a woman is that she would lead with emotion.

Does a temper tantrum count as emotion? I think he just needs his diaper changed.

what do they even think this means, that schools were "secretly transitioning students"?

What did happen at some schools (depending on where you live), is that schools had a policy that if a student was identifying as a different gender, the teacher was not allowed to disclose this to the parents. I think that's wrong, but that's also a far cry from saying a school "transitioned" a student. Also, that's more of a local issue. If you have a problem with it, then take it up with your school administration and school board. Not sure how the federal government can get involved with that.

Ex-Republican sounds alarm on midterm election theft scheme

Ex-Republican sounds alarm on midterm election theft scheme

A longtime conservative warned that President Donald Trump is laying groundwork to interfere with the November midterms, and identified one particular scheme to allow Republicans to keep their majority no matter what voters say.

This week's Supreme Court ruling on mail-in ballots is just one visible piece of a broader effort by Trump and his MAGA allies to subvert the midterm election, which starts in just four weeks with early voting in some states, wrote The Bulwark's Mona Charen.

Charen raised the possibility of ICE agents at polling places, referencing Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche's comments questioning objections to the idea, and then speculated about another scenario the president's allies could carry out.

"There's another possibility, too, one that would require more coordination among Republicans willing to do anything for Trump — but we’ve seen that kind of destructive devotion before," Charen wrote. "If governors and secretaries of state in the right combination of states find reason — however flimsy or farcical — to avoid certifying November’s vote by the time Congress convenes on January 3, it’s possible that the rump House that assembles could have a Republican 'majority.'"

"That 'majority' could elect a speaker, and that speaker could thereafter delay seating rightfully elected Democrats even after their elections are certified, as Speaker Mike Johnson did for many weeks after a special election in 2025," she added.

All you have to do is talk to your kids!

Well, that’s not always the solution. A child may be requesting that their teacher refer to them by a different name or gender, but not tell their parents that they are doing that. I have a friend who is a middle school teacher. He had a student that requested to be called by a different name and gender every several months. Clearly not healthy behavior. My friend was not allowed to inform the student’s parents that this was happening. That was the policy of the school (which may have been an entire school district directive). Do you think that’s right? I don’t. If my son or daughter was secretly requesting to be identified by a different gender and/or name in school, I’d want to know about it.

But again that’s a local issue. I’d be taking it up with the members of my school board to change the policy.

JFC, if my grandson wanted to be called the” Imperial Ms Doctor Doom”, I’d hope they’d inform his parents. Of course I’m being sarcastic. Any emotional change in a student should be reported to the parents.

True. When I was a high school teacher, that was my #1 job. I had a 90% trans conversion rate. I racked in the bonuses for it too! Whatever gender they came in with, I switched 'em! Even if they already had trans surgery at school last year. It wasn't abnormal for kids to change genders at least a dozen times before graduating. Who would have thought that the person to foil this sweet deal would be the wife of a professional wrestling promotor. Damn her!

Wait til he finds out about the teachers Fing their students. He’ll spend an incredible amount of money to go get a teaching degree and a job as a K-6 gym teacher.

"Gannan, what was it like when you could just give kids trans surgeries at school without parents permission?"
