Jalen Hurts was a bogus Bradberry Pass Interference call away and a follow up game winning drive (feel confident that he would have succeeded the way he was playing) from everyone having such a different opinion about him. He was more than worthy of winning that game with his performance. Defense was a NO SHOW. And of course the legendary Aaryn Siposs!!

This kid will get it done at some point and they will still call him a game manager and ask for Carson Strong. I will be laughing at you all. Can't wait! What will be the excuses?

As one of the bigger hurts critics. The issue is that one year was an anomaly. He hasn’t come close to that level of play since then. Which makes that year look like a fluke. If he plays well these next few games, great but chances are slim that he can ever duplicate that SB performance

I wonder if they would try to trade Dak to the Raiders. If he's traded after 6/1, it would clear like $47 million in cap space.

I'd be surprised with Brady allowing that and it's getting reported he has a lot of influence

I think the majority of fans (myself included) just want to see Hurts perform at the level he’s capable of and what we’ve seen him capable of doing. (Top 10 NFL QB level).

There are a small % of haters that will likely always be critical of him but I don’t believe the majority of fans feel that way, tbh.

This. I WANT him to succeed.

My issue is that I’m not sure if he’s capable of being that guy. I hope he shows he is, because it would solve so many issues.

League wants the Eagles out of it

Regarding your last paragraph, I don't think so.  The evidence against that desire id the way the Draft is set up ... penalizing the best teams in every round.  The way the schedule is set up is another pice of evidence ... where the #1 seeds get the hardest schedule, full of other #1 seeds and the #4 seed gets the easiest schedule full of #4 seeds.

They’ve had this system forever. And so does the NBA and MLB.

But all things being equal, of course they want teams like the Giants to sell foreigners.

I've only seen myself and @NCiggles do it

also @e-a-g-l-e-s eagles! did it, plus some responses about certain QBs like Herbert. And I said "so far."

The NBA eliminates the vast majority of the Draft effect by having a soft Cap, and MLB has no Cap at all.  They also don't have the weighted schedule.

Strange comment by Fran since both JT and Burks were on the field for all 53 snaps of that game.  What rotation?

He probably is referring to the Cowboys game that Dean missed with his abdomen injury. I remember Burks and Trotter were rotating in to play next to Baun.

I thought my response to Washington getting massacred was pretty clear.  I'll clarify, I don't see WAS getting blown out at all. In fact, if any team does get blown out, it'll be Detroit, and I think that if they lose, that's exactly how it'll go down.

I expect it to be a somewhat close game with Detroit winning, but I won't be surprised if they come out flat (as it happens to teams with a bye) and they get blown out.

Texans will get blown out

This guy is somehow the quietest Diva in NFL history. It's amazing he's been on like 5 times this year but hasn't done anything in the public eye.

It's pretty clearly a mental health issue. The guy needs help or he is writing chapter two in the Antonio Brown book on life planning

Looks like Higbee will play

In case you're like me and a little chafed about the ref assignment, here's some optimism.

Brad Johnson's SB ring has an inscription that says "discount" on the underside of it

No one talks about that offense

are you saying we win one despite Hurts as the qb?

If that’s the case. Brad Johnson wasn’t making 250 mil. If hurts was being paid closer to 20 mil I would excuse his play a lot more. But he’s being paid elite qb money and he’s not close to it

So Detroit wins unless they lose in which case the Commanders will win big.

stop being an idiot. I specifically stated the way in which I think either team will win.

Patriots fans are convinced they are getting AJ Brown this offseason. It's quite hilarious.

Is the author of his book from Boston?

They probably will get blown out. I don't see them winning in any way, and I would honestly be shocked if they managed to beat KC.

Maybe they were rotating LB positions? Fran made the comment on PHLY

They rotated some during the Dallas game. They both played full games against the Giants.

EDIT: I see @LeanMeanGM pointed it out.

Brady may like what he sees in Dak more than any of the top prospects this year.  Dak is 31.  He's got probably 3 seasons of high level play.  It's not a bad deal.

I couldn't possibly care less who talks about what. I just want a ring.

Mixed forecasts this weekend. Anywhere from 38-40 degrees. Some say no rain, some say very light rain, possibly gone by the game but could linger. into the game.

Why would we trade a guy we just resigned and take a $31.5mm cap charge?
