You thought we were going to lose to the cowboys all week.  We already beat the packers and Washington and probably would have this past time with Hurts playing. A 14-2 team nah no problem lol. That will be the game we lose just because for once yiu aren't worried about a team.

Washington gave us problems in the first game until the 4th. Yes funnily enough without our starting QB I was worried. Against a team who are 4-1 in their last 5 and beat a play off contender last week.

Good. Send them home.

Thanks for nothing packers, bunch of losers

Ish, we're gonna get Green Bay unless Washington loses tonight. That's a much tougher opponent to me.

We are better than the other teams in the NFC. We should win regardless of who or where we play.

Well the Minny win cements the 2 seed in (i.e. no chance at the 1 seed).  So bring on the 7 seed (whoever that ends up being) January 11 or 12.  :flex:

It is kind of nice to have the question resolved.  Makes coaching decisions much easier.

I would rather play the packers than Washington. Packers are grossly overrated. Would be another win for us over them by a bigger margin this time

Yep, one and done looking very realistic unfortunately now.

The 2023 draft is looking like a banner one for Howie that will set this team up for ensuing years. Carter and Smith. Steen, Sydney, Ringo, McKee, and Ojomo. Contributors on every level and hit after hit. That’s fine work right there.

LaFleur is a great coach. Packers are just better all the way around (than the Commanders). Whatever happens though... if we're good enough to win the Super Bowl, we're going to have to beat some teams, so it is what it is.

No incentive for Lions to play starters tomorrow, right? DC said they’re playing anyways but I’d think they only play half at most right?

Packers struggle in big moments

Commanders have far less talent

While both are capable of beating us, I’m not worried about playing either of them.

Bucs, Lions, and Vikings will be far tougher matchups for us

No NFC team in a vacuum really scares me. I think we're capable of beating anyone in any stadium, if they play the way they're capable. The one thing that scares me more than anything, is injuries, which makes Barkley staring down the barrel of the all time rushing record both an awesome thing, and a sucky thing at the same time. Been playing every week since week 6.

Yeah this.  Much rather face the Commies but we *should* beat the Packers at home if we are SB worthy.

Bucs only team that worry me. They have our number, especially Jalen’s.

This.

Very likely (if rams/seahawks game means nothing next week) the 5th seed and 6th seed will have an easier opponent based off record then the 2 seed in the WC round.

theoretically if the rams get the 3 seed beat the 6 seed then (beat) the eagles (in Philly) then could have a home game facing a 5 seed that’s 14-3 in the nfc title game  as they very well might be 10-7. I gave the statistics earlier this week the amount of WC teams with better records than division champs has been increasing each year. With how it’s shaping up the possibly 12 WC teams in the last 3 years have had better records than a division champ. That would be about 4 per year.

There's something to be said about this from a team morale standpoint.

There's a Super Bowl champ every year.   This record has stood for 40 years.  That doesn't mean that they should 100% go after it... BUT... if the players want to, the coaches/organization can't deny them the opportunity.

And Saquon is not going to say he wants it. He also probably realizes his decision to go for it puts his teammates at risk. So he he wont do that to them, but they want stand up and say they want to do it for him....

You gotta let them do it.

Packers played extremely well in the playoffs last season.  They will be very dangerous and looking for revenge.

Where's the asterisk next to Dickerson's record?  He did it in 16 games, Simpson did it in 14.

I just checked... there's no asterisk.

at one point all 14 game records were broken in longer seasons. it happens.

By the way, had Barkley not sat himself in the 2nd half of the first Giants game, and not been shut down today he probably already has that record in 16 games anyway.

If the Rams win their playoff game then the Eagles would play the Rams.  We would play the highest remaining seed which would be the Rams in this scenario and then the Vikings and Lions would play each other in theDivisional.  #1 seed gets the lowest remaining seed.

It’s interesting how different people have different views of different teams. I wouldn’t be worried about Green Bay at all. I think the Eagles would beat them handily. Not saying I’m right at all, just saying it’s interesting.

Of course, and fussing about it is frivolous.   Barkley still has quite a few fewer carries than Dickerson.  So, its not like he's getting a larger workload.

And he definitely would have gotten another 50 against the Giants had he stayed in that game... maybe more.

Eagles are only 3.5 pt favorites next week. They're resting everyone.
