GB is the better team, but Daniels is the better QB.

Daniels is also on a roll, best to avoid him.

Commanders have been very lucky the last 3 games. Barely beat the Saints and the Falcons and beat us without QB 1. I won't mind seeing them in the playoffs and shut them fools up.

Does anyone think Wash can put up 35 points against Fangio again?

For one thing, I'm starting to suspect once they realized the 1st seed was out of reach they've been going vanilla.

Against the Giants, I expect the "scrub" bowl unless Barkley wants to go for the record, in which case the OL will insist on playing.

So they should be well rested and generally healthy for the playoffs.

But the #1 seed was out of reach because we lost last week? So I’m not sure that is the case that they went vanilla.

Do I think Fangio would get found out so soon again by Washington? Probably not but I think Daniels has the ability to make any team look silly. He’s so mobile and good with his legs that he can extend plays and create opportunities.

I feel like I’m tripping balls because everything says last year was 2, 2 and 2. I don’t remember that at all, especially the Eagles being the 2nd MNF game.

I think the Steelers/Bills game was moved to Monday after the blizzard. That’s why. Was originally set for Sunday if I recall correctly.

The definition of luck is "when preparation meets opportunity”. Dan Quinn and Kidd Kingsbury and Joe Whitt have the Commanders very well prepared to pounce on opportunities when they present themselves.

Snaps for the Offense against the Cowboys.

21 snaps for McKee was a nice sample.

Uzomah has quietly been a solid TE2.

I think perception of the Commanders is totally different if the Eagles do what they were on their way to doing last week before injuries and shenanigans.

Snaps for the Defense against the Cowboys.

Huff got 14 snaps out of 62 total.

Assuming Bucs & Broncos clinch, what’s the most unexpected thing when looking at the teams in the playoffs now compared to making predictions back in August?

I’d say 49ers missing the playoffs completely is the biggest surprise for me. Commanders going from #2 pick in draft to 11 (maybe 12?) wins & playoff berth is a close 2. Cowboys missing it & Broncos making it are both up there. Vikings having a legit shot at 1 seed is another big one.

14?! I think I noticed him once. If you said he got 2, I’d believe it. Play an extra DT before him

Snaps for the Special Teams against the Cowboys.

They did play Booker a lot more snaps than usual, so it was "both-and"

Vikings having the record they have. I think everyone didn't expect that with Darnold starting

And Dnaiels has been using his running ability to get them out of tough spots, getting them into favorable down and distances.  He burned us several times with his legs and did so again last night against ATL. He is also already a very good RZ qb.

His scrambling and running ability has really propelled his success. That said, he’s a very skinny guy and appears quite susceptible to injury from that playing style. I’m curious how he’ll hold up long term.

No matter who we play, be prepared to get frustrated with Carter getting held all game without a call. I think this defense is elite, but I don't think they could stop those JD runs and will get burned on 3rd downs. I hope Hurts can win a shootout because as much as I love this defense, I think anyone outside of GB they meet in the playoffs is going to get theirs.

I think we saw just how valuable our WR's are yesterday and that they're being underutilized. When guys like Pickett and our Fing 3rd string QB can hook up with them, they're no excuses anymore. These guys were absolutely wide the F open like they've been all year and we all saw it.

Honestly,  I'm only concerned about this season.  They have an Eagles 2022 vibe going.

They stopped them the first time they played Washington. Just have to go back to being disciplined in the rush lanes. They can certainly stop him or slow him down. As they did the first time, and as they did to Lamar.

Atlanta's defensive gameplan was idiotic last night. It was obvious that Daniels was a little scared to throw especially after Biadasz left the game. They never seemed to think Daniels would run and just left huge openings for him the entire game. If the Eagles did that all game, they would deserve to be blown out. We allowed that to happen on the final drive against them and watching that film should inspire adjustments in a future meeting. QBs don't even have to be good runners to take advantage of that many opportunities to run. Daniel Jones, IMO, is the worst "running QB" I've ever seen, but that is exactly why he ran so much. Basically the falcons traded getting 5 sacks (31 yards) for 127 rushing yards. They were fully committed to the sacks and if Daniels even started to run some players like Judon just completely quit on the play because the sack wasn't there.

They turned the ball over 5 times against us lmao

ATL is out.  No way Tampa loses to NO next week.  Most likely Tampa gets #3 seed since Rams will rest starters with a spot locked up already.

If commanders stay at #6 hopefully tampa eliminates them

IMO, the AFC has better teams at the top but less depth. The 7 seed in the AFC is Denver/Cinci/Miami. Easy games. But in RD2, you get KC/Baltimore/Buffalo.

In our case, we'd likely get the Rams/Bucs in RD2.

Harder RD1 matchup. Easier RD2 matchup.

Still hope they come away with Shedeur Sanders. I want that sideshow in NY.

Top 6 offense & top 3 defense. No matter how the playoffs go, we've been a great team.
