Weren’t a couple of those games fresh off of chemo and beating cancer though?  Either way, doesn’t move the needle…camp arm or PS/scout team type.

The Browns made the Jets look like a functional organization.

DTR is a run pass QB but... He is not fast like Lamar. He is not big and strong like Hurts

He is a 3rd QB at this point with some interesting talent. What McKee showed in 47 drop backs last year makes him a top 10 backup QB in 2025 (IMO). DTR would be a bottom 5 backup or a decent 3rd. I could even see them draft someone in the 6th to challenge him.

He is dirt cheap league minimum.

I'd thought the Eagles were going to draft DTR as a late-round pick, but CLE took him at #140.  I liked him as a prospect, but I think two years in CLE has put some stink on him.  

Hopefully, he can rebound.

If you add up and offset all the values from the standard NFL trade chart, it works out that the Eagles traded the equivalent of the 18th pick in the 4th round for Pickett.

 

 

None of these moves have been surprising. Baun was always the priority which they got done, Milton and Sweat were always gone especially after their games in the Super Bowl, this was always Slay’s last season here, and McKee took the #2 job making Pickett expendable. 
 

No issues so far whatsoever. 

Skip and Parsons have nightmares about the Eagles every night.
