We discovered that. My senior management put me on the team. I would ask the McKinsey experts what they recommended before I would let our employees respond.the senior partner complained that we were not participating. They knew me and knew that was far from the case and our change management team member backed me up. Meanwhile my team, not using the McKinsey format put together our own slides with our recommendations. Result? As a corporation (large worldwide) cancelled their contracts when McKinsey couldn’t produce anything on their own. They had a horrible habit of overselling efficiency until we demonstrated they were dead wrong. My reward, being put in charge of fixing things from other departments that didn’t take my course. Fortunately I had a great change management partner.

My last and current employer have a love for the likes of McKinsey, Alix Partners, etc.

I hear on the grapevine that McKinsey have been under some heavy live fire from certain areas of the business because they've offered nothing more than minute taking and meeting booking. In my last employer, they suggested the whole company go to Agile, but couldn't offer a practical path to do it, so it crashed and burned. A giant waste of money

If they could change the font of ‘eagles’ to whatever you call it (but you know it when you see it) and if there is an 🦅 on the back… chef’s kiss.

You should construct a strongly worded email to them about this.

I agree. The triple exclamation point is just obnoxious.

Manning has been throwing 5 yard drags and crossers at like 90 mph all game. I don't get why he is trying to fire those in there with everything he has instead of touching throwing them.

I think it's less about money than ego, some players feel they should be paid commiserate with their self-image.

Hurts instructed his agent to ensure that his contract would not burden the cap to the point that it would force Howie to squeeze his teammates, he wanted to get paid, but not grab every dollar to the detriment of the team.

He's planning on a long career here (doubt he'll play for any other team) and wants to both win and make sure his teammates are taken care of.

When he's lying by his pool a decade from now, a career of winning and the bonds with his teammates will matter more to him than the $10-20M more after taxes and agent fees he might have garnered by playing hardball in contract negotiations.

He's still going to be filthy rich, I mean he'll walk away from his current deal with over $100M after taxes, and will probably have one more mega-deal before he retires.

Hurts got PAID. And when a player gets a huge contract like that, there's going to be a hit against the cap. Hurts didn't really sacrifice anything at all. The Eagles just sructured it so that pain comes later rather than sooner.

Barring a trade are his guaranteed bonuses in the outyears avoidable? The contract is built with the assumption of an extension in 2027-2028, which is fine if he’s still getting the job done, but what if he isn’t?

Red zone play calling has been an issue…and was today.

Twice in the Red zone and Arch is running qb draw/keeper on first down, one of those drives he carried it 3 of 4 plays? The RBs got them down field, let them punch it in.

At the same time the OSU defense played very well, especially in the secondary. The Red zone was the difference, Texas out gained OSU by 100 yards.

At this point, I hope Dallas tanks for Arch. I've never been more unimpressed by a QB than I was today.

He’s only a RS sophomore, I think it’s a coin flip that he even comes out.

That would be Raiola at Nebraska. Same haircut and wears #15. Mahomes met with him at the game on Thursday. All apologies to Travis (and Taylor) and Jason but that wasn’t a good game for the Backshirts @ManuManu and I can explain that reference.

I know all that but I was referring to the sideways throw Manning made. Raiola definitely is a Mahomes wanna be lol

Based on today... I'd say its far worse than a coin flip. Based on today, he needs at least 2 years in college.

Yup Worst attempted tush push I ever saw, the center just flattened out and lay there like a dead animal.

Takes more technique and skill to run the push than people give the eagles credit for

Retzlaff (Siri changed it to Tesla’s) and Brookie were in their primes when @just relax and @FranklinFldEBUpper and @BigEFly and others were beginning fandom. So we saw them in action. For me neither were the best Eagle at their position. They were generational, but not all time.

Actually Brookshier and Retzlaff were already retired when I first started watching football. My first game as a fan was in 1968. All I knew about football before then was that it was something my dad watched on weekends and occasionally went to. I was an instant devoted fan after my first game however and followed the rest of that football season very closely. That’s why I remember the Jets Super Bowl so well but have zero knowledge (other than historical) about the first two Packers wins.

Tough opening draw, Texas has an easy schedule in September to get back on track - but yeah, not an auspicious start.

OSU is tough for sure, but Manning looked terrible. The side arm throws and not setting his feet with zero pressure around him. Throwing absolute heathers when all he has to do is give his guy an easy ball to catch. His athleticism looked fine, but as a QB, he looked bad. I'm sure he's much better than he displayed today, but he was not good.

No doubt. But, no tougher than an NFL defense, even a bad one (after all... the DC at OSU is Patricia).
