3 players, 3 quarters, or 3 weeks?

I'm hoping just 3 quarters. Though 3 quarters against a divisional opponent even if it's Dallas is worrisome

ANYONE INTERESTED IN A LAST MINUTE FANTASY FOOTBALL LEAGUE?

Let me know if you are interested and we can throw something together and draft Tuesday or Wednesday evening.

I'm hoping to watch more because the last one I was in was basically throwing money away. I might try out next season

Geez, Belichik is pushin a D cup.

Friendly reminder that against the supposed big 5 (Stafford Jackson Allen Mahomes Burrow) that people have been pushing this offseason, Jalen Hurts is SEVEN AND OH since the start of the 2023 season.

All things being equal (and I do think it’s pretty close) maybe he would be my preference. But I do have some concern Jerry Rice would begin hanging around on our sideline and I'm not interested in that at all. For that reason, I prefer Baker.

Football gods forbid that Jerry Rice might share some wisdom with the Eagles receivers. Can’t have that.

Stafford is a joke.

He had a 4 game span in the playoffs with a god tier team after adding Von Miller and Odell Beckham to an already very good team.

He beat a no contest Arizona team that was 1-4 in their last 5 (beat Dak)

He still only did just enough to win games on a stupid zero blitz by Todd Bowles, a weird Shanahan choke at 20 points, and his D humbling Burrow.

The entire rest of his career he is 1-5 in the playoffs.

He is a 22-18 regular season QB with a pathetic 91.8 rating since that super boosted SB team. He adds zero to the run game. Going into 2025 he is both ancient and feeble. Anyone spouting Stafford top 10 is worthless. Saying top 5 is a sign of an underlying mental illness.

You can read all about Burrow in the Hurts is Done thread. He might be the most overrated professional athlete of the last 25 years.

He is a Neil Lomax with better players and a defense that carried him to multiple playoff wins while getting trashed by the ignorant.

The Burrow vs Tyler Huntley WC was a tie game until the Bengals D saved them.

Mahomes is a slightly below average regular season QB the last 2 years. He lost 3 playoff games last year and the refs stole 2 of them.

Feel free to rank Lamar, Hurts, and Allen as you wish.

Too low.

Thinking back to season openers of the past, 1 stands out amongst the rest. Opening Day to the 2000 season - the infamous "Pickle Juice" game.

And thanks to morons in powerful positions, we'll never see a season start like that again.

(for those that don't remember, or weren't alive...)

@mattwill

Birds 52 cow💩9

Bonus: Coop with a pick six

Bonus Bonus: Howell in garbage time to Coop trying for a first down and gets 20+. Nick, not wanting to run up the score starts calling runs for Dillon. On third down, Dillon trucks the cowpads LB then trucks their CB and runs it down to the 1 for a Westbrook level sit down.

Something weird could happen and you end up with Barkley or Gibbs. Otherwise I’d just go with Jefferson. He’s never had good QBs but puts up stats.

How dare you besmirch Kurt "the next Drew Brees” Cousins

Welcome to September so the Season is finally here. The Road to Repeat begins. The Eagles are 4-0 in the Hurts/Sirianni era in Season Openers. Ironically this will be their first home opener in Philadelphia against The Cowboys. As last year's home game was in Brazil. Here are the scores of the Home openers:

@ Falcons 32-6 (One of the highlights of that 2-5 start. Everything clicked this game. Devonta's Debut, Jalen officially the starter)

@ Lions 38-35 (Shootout in Detroit. This game is why I wasn't scared of playing them last year or now. We matchup with them. AJ's Debut.)

@ Patriots 25-20 (I remember this game being a little too close for comfort. This was the 1st year for the Georgia Boys. It was also the start of the 10-1 run before the collapse. Of course this happen coming off a Super Bowl loss)

@ Brazil Vs Packers 34-29 (They started sloppy but pulled it together. Saquon's Debut)

*The Eagles averaged 32.2 PPG while giving up 22.5 PPG

This will be the first time The Eagles and Cowboys have played on Opening Day since 9/3/2000 25 years ago. The Legendary "Pickle Juice Game". Eagles won 41-14. Let's make it 5-0 Home Openers in a row on Thursday Banner Night. (The Eagles won their Banner Night opener against the Falcons after Super Bowl LII 18-12.

I'm shocked that Lamar was chosen as #2 instead of Burrow

Lamar is good until the postseason rolls around. He's ass in January. All the love he gets from the media outlets are annoying
