Nah. I think that was Jalen's decision.

You don't even send your offense onto the field with a play called in. It literally starts and stops right there, with that mind numbing decision from our head coach.

To go to AJ or to go on 4th in a stupid situation?

The former. Not punting on 4th was criminal.

You really think he physically declined to where he’s not a #1 WR?! He’s easily a top 10 WR.

If you’re saying he’s checked out and/or something is just wrong with him mentally… you probably can build a case

I don’t have time to watch the all-22. But I want someone to show me all-22 with Brown getting open. I don’t think it’s happening. If it is, then I’m proven wrong and it’s on Hurts. If it’s not, then he’s literally a #2. If you are a possession WR who doesn’t get open and can outmuscle DB’s, you are a #2.

Add the Seahawks to that list.

Thought about them, but Darnold has these turnover flurries that seem inevitable come the postseason.

That’s why we need home field desperately this season. Unlike last year we’re not a totally dominant team.

Although, we may be better than we think because the schedule has been brutal. Winning 13 games this year against this schedule would be a great outcome.

Against a bunch of garbage, and they have a tough schedule too.

But.....you said RIGHT NOW.

Go to sleep and watch the Siri presser tomorrow.

Joe Buck is an ass clown. DeVonta did not take it away from anyone.

The DB is falling at a 45 degree angle flailing after he was beat and has no shot to catch the ball.

DeVonta did have to stand ground and reach back some but no way does the DB ever get to that ball.

Dotson took a ball away from a DB. This was not that.

Kapadia: Based on offensive success rate, that was the Eagles' worst regular-season performance of the Sirianni/Hurts era. A 6th percentile offensive performance.

The only game that was worse was the playoff loss to the Bucs after the 2023 season.

Same thing I said last year- every team looks like they're playing at a different level. Until they have to play us. Then ask if a sudden, things get tough and they don't look so hot and the Eagles win.

Today was disappointing for the defense in one respect:

I really like Jordan Davis. But Jalen Phillips is gonna get ALLLLLLL HIS MONEY

I wasn't a big fan of his, but man did he open some eyes tonight. If that's the kind of player he is, Howie might have to break his no extension during the season rule.

Darnold did have three turnovers in his own territory yesterday…

We get Detroit at home…huge advantage. They may be without Arnold at CB, and that interior OL looks vulnerable. If we win next week…they have quite a string of wins against good teams this season!

We’ve seen the KP experiment for 9 games now. It has been ugly almost every single game. At what point do they strip the play calling from him? Detroit did it with the their OC.

It’s time to move on

Defense is going to be ready for a SB run.

The offense…if they get their crap together, the Eagles are the odds on SB favorite. If they keep sputtering like this, they have no chance.

Eagles weren't last year either until the championship game and super bowl...

Everyone was worried about how good other teams looked every week last year tol.

Then those teams played the Eagles and learned what happens when they actually play someone good.

Their inability to get plays in on time might be the thing that speaks most to dysfunction than any of their flaws. The fact that this hasn't gotten remotely better this season when they've acknowledged it's a problem, they are asked about it all the time, had a bye and mini bye to fix it... it reeks of amateur hour. This doesn't seem like it should be a difficult thing to fix. And they are far and away the worst at it in the NFL. And they can't fix it.

It really makes me concerned about the brains of the operation on that side of the ball that something so simple they're just unable to improve.

@mattwill @vikas83

Game 1 of Phillips was a pretty good start towards your comp pick bets.

Hurts punting it would have been perfect. They literally just needed it to roll like 10 yards down the field and it would have caught GB totally offguard

Shoot… that’s actually a damn good call. Would have ran a few extra seconds off the clock too.

There have been like 5 games like that this season already. It's a trend that doesn't seem like it's changing any time soon. Lurie really needs to step in and some point and ask his coach just what in the F is going on here.

I think he has physically declined (not to the point of being cooked, but to the point of no longer being a #1), which led to reduced usage (further compounded by our limited volume passing game), which has led to him checking out….put it all together and, while he may have a game here or there where he kinda/sorta goes off, he’s done like dinner here and is going to go out like a whisper from here on out…just a question of when it happens.

I think the amount of zone we’ve faced is what’s really hurting him. He’s dominant against man coverage, but against zone we target Smith and Goedert.

Physically, I’m not sure how he could have declined. Isn’t he only 27?

Just need McKee and a super bowl win is all but guaranteed.

Sure looked like the primary read of the play though.

One and done sadly
