Nolan Smith was ineffective his first several games this year because he wasn’t ready. They put him on IR and he had his best game of the season tonight.

AJ Brown, as is and as used, is functionally useless to this team. Dotson could fill his role without any drop off. If the hammy is the problem, they need to Nolan Smith him and just given him 4 weeks to get right.

I’m going to shift my excitement to the defense because I think the offense will remain inconsistent for the rest of the season. At least they dodged a bullet with Lane’s injury tonight.

But if Jaire can be 75% of what he was in GB (big if) and keep Jackson/Ringo off the field then this defense is for real and has the potential to be as good as last season. The line all of the sudden looks much better with a rotation of Phillips, Nolan, BG, and Hunt.

They can all go sing Kumbaya on the plane home

I don’t want to give legs to something Hurts may not have even done, but that’s the kind of thing that fractures relationships. A qb always has the right to change the play at the LOS. Changing into that play from another is something they can yell at each other about, but is no big deal. That’s on Siri.

Running a play when he had instructions to draw them offsides and take the delay of game is inexcusable. It’s bench worthy and, benched or not, would be a controversy that dogs them all year.

Needs to be appreciated how the Eagles are facing nearly every team worth a damn in the NFC this season (except for the Seahawks) and they are beating them all. Whether at home or on the road, while each of these games are the biggest games of the season for these other teams.

Each game is a brawl. As long as AJ doesn't go nuclear to really throw things off course then this team has a real chance to repeat.
