Absolutely, they get game ball. Thought Vic got way too conservative on that GB td drive. Love can't handle pressure and the only receiver you to worry about was Watson. Thought he would turn it up once they crossed midfield

The DPI accelerated the drive. GB was at the 34, where Vic would have most likely started to dial up some pressure.

Watching post game live they ask AJ Brown:

Do you appreciate the aggressiveness of going of for it there at the end to you?

"Uhhhh...uhhh...idk abou that"

I dont know the thinking but maybe because GB had no timeouts and the way the defense was playing he thought going for it on 4th wouldn't hurt them.

I wonder if GB had even just 1 timeout left if they would have punted instead. They still should have regardless but luckily it worked out.

I'd like to see the average separation of "Whoever is covering AJ" I bet they are the real #1 as a combination.

Dude does not get open in 2025 unless Hurts points at him on a broken play.

DeVonta is constantly getting open.

Detroit will think they can march in next week.

And then the rolling cloud of offense hits like the cartoons from yesteryear.

Detroit has been outplayed by 3 teams this year:

KC

MIN

GB

guess what those 3 teams have in common?

Sorry Jalen. The quality of the opponent is of no consequence. Everything should work all the time.

Glad it's in Philly. We'll see. The defense won't be able to hold them this way and the offense needs to quickly get their crap together.

I think AJ is a really good WR. However, if they aren't going to use him for whatever reason, then get something for him. Just seems like a waste.

I’m going to shift my excitement to the defense because I think the offense will remain inconsistent for the rest of the season. At least they dodged a bullet with Lane’s injury tonight.

But if Jaire can be 75% of what he was in GB (big if) and keep Jackson/Ringo off the field then this defense is for real and has the potential to be as good as last season. The line all of the sudden looks much better with a rotation of Phillips, Nolan, BG, and Hunt.

How could the Eagles be so content going with the unexperienced offensive coordinator?

I'll take the W. That was a HUGE game in the playoff seeding. Next week is just as big!

Let's go!!!

All the time? I would have settle for half the time. We scored 10 points…

If they can get after Goff he will fold. Little nervous about their rb duo

Them being a good defense doesn't excuse the runs up the middle constantly that everyone knew was coming. Few creative plays here and there, but then it would stop. It's late. I can't remember them all, but it felt like one "why???" call after another for a while there. Came out good after the half and then back to "why". GB is a good defense and they sure made some plays and deserve credit, but KP went back to KP before the Minny game again for way too long in that game. And where was Tank? Did he get hurt?

I said this the other day, the 4 best defenses the lions have faced are KC, Gb, Minnesota and Tampa. The scored 16, 13 (garbage TD), 24 and 24. Frankly Tampa had a bunch of guys hurt tha game. Kept the lions to 21 in the 4th until they had to go for it on offense and gave them a short field where they gained 0 yards and hit a 58 yard FG. They might lead the NFL in ppg, but that’s because they put all these points up against bad defenses. And when they faced better defenses, they struggled to look great.

If the weather is cold or windy it will affect Goff and it helps that he doesn't really move out of the pocket.

However Gibbs legitimately scares me. They have plenty of playmakers in St Brown, Williams and Laporta along with Gibbs but if they can pressure Goff consistently it won't matter.

Its really strange how the Lions great plays are really only great this year when the other team is way overmatched or kinda overmatched and in the Lions dome.

Do you think they move the game to Detroit on Sunday night?

Early forecast is for mid-50s at game time Sunday night. But it will be dark outside. That may affect Goff more than the cold.

No but this offense needs more than 10 points
