The should’ve traded Hendrickson 2 years ago when he was 29 years old when he put up 17.5 sacks. Not held onto him and let him become a deteriorating asset with a team that wasn’t close to winning and a defense that needed a complete overhaul. 2 years ago Hendrickson was one of the best pass rushers in the league. Add on Hendrickson also wasn’t coming off a knee surgery at that point and was 29. Also Crosby is going to be 29 when the season starts and Hendrickson 31. So i don’t know where you got 5 years younger.

And this isn’t Hendrickson is better than Crosby. He’s not but the Bengals may have gotten a 1st rounder at that point or at least something if they traded him a couple years back with 2 years left on contract at 29 coming off a 17.5 sack season and a great pass rush win rate ('24 Hendrickson = 25.7 Crosby = 14.9; '23 Hendrickson = 26.7 Crosby = 19.6). Instead they were stupid and got nothing for him when they needed to rebuild that entire defense and needed draft picks

I was a bit disappointed in the Vanilla Gorilla's play. I thought he'd would have played more, and be a productive D Lineman for us. Maybe he needs another year or two to adjust to the NFL.

I wouldn't say Mack was traded before his prime. His peak years as the best pass rusher in the league were with the Raiders.

I look at what Travis Jones got. Jones was better througn the first 3 years of their careers, plays more snaps, and got paid half of what Jordan Davis did. Feels like an overpay.

I’d say he’s much better than decent. They also probably see a bigger role for him going forward.

Nah. He owns up when he’s wrong. He did it when Aiyuk didn’t get traded to Pittsburgh and when NE didn’t trade for a running back. The info was actually right but last minute changes of heart by Aiyuk deciding to take the contract and Tennessee’s owner nixing the deal.

He doesn’t always get it right, but he’s been fairly reliable.
