I'm still holding out for hope for two TE's in free agency and then one in the draft. I'm fine with bringing back Goedert but would actually prefer an entirely brand new group of three. Njoku on a one year deal and a blocking specialist that only costs 2-3 million would be ideal.

Or potentially one free agent and two draft picks, take a flier on a late round TE if the class is truly that deep.

Seattle had 5 taunting penalties called on them last year and Woolen had 3 of them...

Who gets tossed first vs Dallas him or Carter

Yep, that would work as well.

This term is so overused in sports but Woolen legit "has that dog in him."

Very good move Imo and definite upgrade. He can also fly which gives him a high ceiling at just 26.

We signed a legit superhero!

Fly Eagles Fly!

It'll be interesting to see what they do at S or if Coop is the S and Carter is the slot. I think DE will either be Chubb or a 1st rd pick. I expect signings at TE, lots of noise on Njoku (not just rickyscoops lol)

Going into last year our biggest position concern was CB2. Woolen secures that spot and strengthens the secondary.

Re-sign Epps for a "safe" veteran at safety and draft a safety in what's supposed to be a strong class, and that's a pretty good secondary.

Sign Chubb at Edge, extend Carter and the defense should be set before the draft.

We still have Makuba coming back as well. I think he had a so so rookie season before he got hurt.

Wrong again.

Its a joke so lighten up francis. Its ok you were wrong about Philips

Howie already thinking ahead to a comp pick in 2028!

If fangio thinks Woolen can play than I trust his judgement. His penalties are the biggest question mark.

Is it really a "big splash?"

Instead of a cannonball off the diving board splash, more like a quick jack-knife off the cement kind of splash.

Yes I know. But we need another starter next to him. Epps is a cheap "safe" choice, decent player. It's supposed to be a good safety class so drafting one without the urgency to start day 1 like Mukuba brings depth to the group. Then you can hope he becomes the starter to replace Epps.

Vic seems to favor speed at CB. Seems obvious but not always. Why Rasul never got a look in FA last year I think

Howie has wanted Woolen all the way back to this draft when Seattle traded up 1 spot ahead of the Eagles and took him.

Fair. I just hope they are not planning to move Coop to S.

It's about time Howie did something and I don't want to be that guy, but.....not a big fan of the Woolen signing. Does it make them better, definitely. I'm just not a big fan of the player, unless the "up to" in the 15 million is a lot of incentives it seems really high, and I'm not sure about his fit in this system either. I guess the strategy is to be loaded at CB and try to get by with very little at S.

Seattle preferred Josh Jobe for what that's worth, which I think is plenty. Hopefully this works out. I think the actual contract is probably $10M with some impossible to reach incentives.

I doubt that.

Seattle still play alot of c3? If so was woolen boundary or field?

Coop is the best slot corner in the NFL. They aren't moving him to S.
