Seattle preferred Josh Jobe for what that's worth, which I think is plenty. Hopefully this works out. I think the actual contract is probably $10M with some impossible to reach incentives.

They are a SB winning team that has to make choices of who to keep and who to let leave just like us. Philly doesn't prefer Nolan Smith to Phillips, or Epps to Blankenship, or Hunt to Sweat, etc. Decisions have to be made, teams have to prioritize just like the Eagles are doing.

Any free agent not re-signed by their team means the team chose not to bring them back, doesn't mean they're not a good player.

I love the upside.

But Im not sure we are set at CB2 with a player we all know got benched last year.

Id still take Jackson back on another tiny 1 year deal.

I also think it'd be really fun to draft Demmings and have all the small school CBs- Mitchell, Woolen, and Demmings balling out together. Demmings taking over for Woolen when he leaves in free agency next year.

That is in part why I'm not in love with this deal. Isn't Woolen best as a press man corner? I would like to think that Howie learned from the past signing guys he liked that weren't a fit with Vic (Huff, White) but Woolen seems like a player that Howie would love and Vic would get annoyed with a lot.

If Adore doesn't get any better opportunities I would absolutely be interested in bringing him back to b e the 3rd outside corner. He probably played well enough over the second half of last season to get a chance to compete to be a starter elsewhere though.

Id take those stats with a grain of salt. What's man and what's zone when you are playing in a man match scheme? Big gray area we don't know how these sites are differentiating that.

Woolen was a rookie when Hurtt was their D coordinator and played a similar system… I also heard rumors Hurtt might be the eagles top choice to take over for Vic when he does retire so I think this could work out.

Seattle had 5 taunting penalties called on them last year and Woolen had 3 of them...

Vic and his assistants need to straighten him out.

Rickey is back?

It's gonna happen. He's on my ff team almost every year

I don't think that's the "it" move at TE since he's purely a blocker and not a pass catching TE at all.

Low key solid move. Big upgrade to GC as one of the better blocking TE's in the league. This was exactly the type of guy I wanted them to sign after getting one of Goedert, Njoku, Okonkwo, Smith. Now they just have to go out and get one of them done.

Never thought I'd say this but you are right. I'd like to see Jackson back for depth.

No fly zone 2.0

I dont have a thread made, so I probably just posted about this player in here but heres a new video. Nowakowski is someone I assume is in the UDFA range who is quite solid, blocks well, and has FB versatility.

EJ Smith seems like a super nice guy but he is such a FN moron and makes PHLY almost impossible to watch with his inability to not laugh about everything and stay on a discussion topic for more than a couple of minutes at a time. Losing Berman was a massive blow to their pod.

Woolen as CB3 at that price is great.

Either we play sides and Fangio can disguise OR we play man and Woolen gets their 2nd/3rd best WR. He's more than physical enough to handle Pickens in matchups like Dallas who pummeled us.

Go get one more EDGE, sign Epps and the defense is set.
