SERIOUSLY, why are you going to bring back FN Calcaterra? If they are done at TE and go into the draft with that FN bum and Mundt Howie's reputation will take a serious hit, especially after he said about needing to re-think the TE position. Hopefully they are just "draft proofing" the position and he will compete with a rookie for the 3rd TE spot but even that is stupid since we know he literally brings nothing of value to the team.

Calcatera has always been a pretty nice receiving TE. Hed be a lot better in an offense, and with a QB that utilized him more as a receiver. Maybe we will now.

I hate to say but this kinda feels like a Howie overcorrection with TE Mundt. He has gone after back up TE's that provide nothing in the blocking category but have upside as pass catchers, and now with Mundt... The exact opposite. Can't we get someone in the middle or that's a high level blocker but at least decent as a pass catcher? He does seem like a tough guy so I'm not hating but it just felt that way initially.

Now on to Grant, so we have Mundt who can't catch and Grant who can't block, polar opposite TE's.

I also think it'd be really fun to draft Demmings and have all the small school CBs- Mitchell, Woolen, and Demmings balling out together. Demmings taking over for Woolen when he leaves in free agency next year.

There are a bunch of 3rd-5th round corners with legit skill and tools. I think this move gives us the freedom to deprioritize CB early in the draft and try to develop a mid round guy for a year. If we like what we see, then we aren’t forced to take one early in 2027.

I agree. Ive brought up the idea of pairing Demmings with our 2 small school guys. Would be very cool to see them all ball out together until Demmings takes over for Woolen in a year.

Annoying doesn't begin to describe it. They will be in the middle of a good football discussion and he will laugh about something that isn't even remotely funny and then blab about something that nobody cares about for several minutes.

Back to the Eagles, you don't think they would actually be done at TE and go into the draft with Calcaterra and Mundt? What an absolute crap show nightmare that would be. Until/if they sign a legit number 1 TE I am officially concerned.

Wonder if Ravens had cold feet and purposely failed the physical. Otherwise the Raiders are screwed and don’t get close to that offer now.

Anyway back to Woolen, would’ve been nice to have Parker here to coach him up but alas.
