The Goedert contract seems like next domino. While Brisker is out there I still have hope at safety

He's 5'10 185. Mukuba is 5'11 185. No chance they go with two smurfs as their starting safety tandem.

Brisker is a thumper. I'd like him. But I'm not sure Howie wants to spend even 5-6M there, which is a steal.

He should learn from Rodgers last year and spend 5 or 6 million and lock it down

I am all for giving him a shot but its risky. Need to mitigate the risk unless they love the oregon safety

It's crazy seeing Thieneman shooting up the draft boards. Might have to trade up to 15-18 range to get him if he is their RD1 target.

Brisker would be awesome but considering how bad Sydney Brown is who is currently the second safety on the depth chart I would be happy with Epps, Stone, or Woods. Brown shouldn't even be on the team so between free agency and the draft they really need to add two safeties.

Yup. Left too many questions marks for a Superbowl roster. Bottom 10-15 players on the roster was severely compromised. At minimum, I would have kept a few guys that left for very little. And keep the culture and hunger going with that gang. Too many new guys. Howie needs to bullet proof this roster better and just assume injuries in several positions.

Brisker is only going to be as cheap as he is though due to injury concerns. He is also just entering his prime, has draft pedigree, and he had a pre-draft visit with the Eagles. That tends to be a lot of stuff that Howie looks for in a bargain free agent signing. I would be low key excited if they got Brisker.

I don't trust the draft for a this year solution. Mukaba is already young.

Right now we lost Dean, Blankenship & Phillips & TE tbd. Dean we had already drafted for. S needs to be addressed as does DE. We upgraded at CB and blocking TE so far

Bryce Huff is about to lose all his NFL money

Goedert, Brisker, and Greenard would quickly turn this off-season around. I'm just not optimistic. I think it probably ends up being Goedert, Epps, and someone like Epenesa or Ebiketie.

Dare I say he's going to get burned with this investment.

Over reaction to combine, which was impressive

But safety is such a mental position will depend on interviews

Yes. 3 proven NFL starters at those 3 positions. And not journeymen or flyer type players who we have to hope for best case scenario of outcome. It's doable. Why not.

Seems pretty simple and shouldn't be very expensive at all other than Greenard.

He should get JD Drew to help with battery safety

Guys, don't forget to scroll up. Very important.

Also, the 2026 Eagles Football Season will be a wash year, a throw a way thingy. We'll get back to business in 2027!! dope-slap

Scroll up to see everything that Howie didn't do again today.

Epps is not enough at safety unless the plan is to start Cooper at safety which isn't popular. You cannot rely on antoher rookie along with with Mukaba

Epps/other free agent + draft pick

Dallas is a joke in there.

I feel like the Jets are getting a major boost for enduring how bad their team is.

What are we thinking for a Goedert deal? At 31 I don't see him getting more than two years. These are the following numbers for FA TE's so far:

Likely - 13.3

Kelce - 12

Otton - 10

Okonkwo - 10

Kolar - 8.1

Bellinger - 8.0

The Kolar and Bellinger contracts are gross but that's what happens when you sign someone right off the bat on day one of the legal tampering period. I don't see Goedert getting quite what Otton and Okonkwo got due to the fact they are both still in their prime and he is 31. I'm thinking something like two years, 16 million maybe with some incentives that could push it up to 20 million would be fair for both sides.

I like him already. And the awareness about the penalties and plan to improve.

He could be something. Now we need a similar player at edge pronto.
