Jones is an odd signing. A sign Carter will play safety?

No idea what it’s for. Can’t think he’s guaranteed a roster spot

Why is Diana Rossini being treated like the most trusted name in all things Eagles all of a sudden?

To pay $3M less for Brisker than Reed is winning. Man, can't believe he passed that deal up. And only a 1 year commitment for a 26 year old. I see that he is from Pittsburgh, so that may have swayed him.

Back-up Nickel. Likely confirms they are moving forward with Carter as S

Howie is missing on the 1 year gems like Becton and Baun. That's what made that team. Still have a whole offseason at least. Signed Becton late. And Baun pretty early IIRC.

Carter II/Mukuba/Epps/Brown

What an inspiring Safety room /s

Which is fine. Defense is going to cook regardless. If they can find an upgrade then even better.

We never know who Vic likes and there’s no sense signing guys Vic doesn’t like. That’s not an excuse for a lame offseason but could be why some guys are avoided

All 4 of those guys have been hurt alot in their careers. He better load up on like 20 safeties. Eventually one might stick. LOL

Epps isn’t even signed, is he?

No Goedert deal yet? Can we push this deadline back again two more days to stop the spread of the dead cap.

5.5 for brisker seems great value.

Not yet

I still don’t see a 1 on a safety. I know we broke tradition on a lB last year but it seems extremely likely the pick is OL or DE

Jones is a professional, I doubt he's guaranteed any spots but I think it's a decent little move. I'm sure he is a well respected veteran. He was always good on the Pats, not sure how he was last year. Maybe he can reel Riq in some too.

Speaking of, after watching his presser, color me impressed. I came away pleasantly surprised. I really liked his attitude, seems like a good kid to me.

Played with Eagles secondary coach in New England

We are gonna play 11 CBs on defense next year. But seriously, this team may get gashed next year in the running game. I hate that kind of Eagles defense.

If Thieneman is really in to the top 15-20, then McNeil-Warren is likely still on the board for us at 23.

If we miss on the biggest flashy names at the top, then Taaffe will be an option in round 4 and we will be fine.

Treydan Stukes is also a nice option round 3 or later and will only be available that late due to age. He has flexibility to play S and CB.

Theres actually quite a few S options in this draft.

A free agent would have been nice. So would keeping Reed at that price. But, here we are.

The world isnt ending and we arent really even pigeon holed in to taking a S in round 1. Should work out ok.

I think Reed is gone because Vic didn't want him. The price was right but he wants someone else there. Even his comments from the other day were laudatory but not of the we are going to miss him kind.

Carter/Mukaba/maybe Epps (still not signed so just a maybe) and a draft pick. Behind two lockdown CBs with a decent shot at a third lockdown CB in Woolen, provided they give him some good coaching and mentoring.

I just don't think they are going to spend on safety. Seems pretty obvious at this point.

The question is what is their big move or was Woolen it?

Greenard is looming out there. At least we’ll find out status of TE tomorrow

You can say Crosby is also looming out there.

If our last line of defense is to be weak, our front line may as well be elite.

I'm beginning to think they intend to play Cooper at safety. How can they have no plan there? Mind boggling

Epps and a draft pick
