Thursday at 11:13 PM3 days They better go get Greenard now. If we see he was traded to another team or the Vikings pull him off the market there really is nothing that can prevent this free agency period from being hot garbage. Doesn't mean they can't have a great draft or a great season, but that would cement this free agency as 🗑️

I still find it hard to believe Howie will let the team slide like that but it's not looking good right now.
Thursday at 11:17 PM3 days There would be no excuse for this. This is beyond "we have no room to sign anyone" this would just be pure arrogance. Arrogant Eagles virtually always get burned. Can't remember the last time they completely neglected a position and try to skate by unscathed where it didn't bite them colossally in the ass. Most recently tried to do it at LB in 2023 and it absolutely killed them.
Thursday at 11:24 PM3 days Still time but this offseason has gone very badly on paper starting with the coaching search onward
Thursday at 11:26 PM3 days Don"t worry Howie is saving his money to what I fear is a massive overpay for Jalen Carter. I am not signing him this offseason. Will wait til he proves he's healthy and dominant again. Howie should learn from Cam Jurgens deal. May be best to use JC's money for Coop, Q, Hunt and MO. And Riq if he does well here. Optionality will be key here. Unless JC wants to sign for a bargain I am not signing him right now. This Carter move and what happens here will make or break Howie Roseman IMO. This move worries me like when Sixers signed Embiid to a huge contract. And way too early.

Thursday at 11:34 PM3 days Maybe they sign JaJuan Jennings, who is a better WR than Brisker is a safety to address WR depth so they don't have to invest in WR in the draft and then use a pick they likely would have used on WR on Safety. Jennings knows the Shanahan system, would fit well here. Good hands, over the middle catches.

I still think having Mukaba and a rookie seems crazy and Carter is small
Thursday at 11:37 PM3 days As much as I want safety in the draft, it feels like we will be pigeon holed into OL. Not good. The guy I'm really starting to warm up to is Fano. Shorter arms may drop him into a suitable trade up range. He can play guard and even potentially center. I would not want him at tackle.
Thursday at 11:39 PM3 days While you boast possibly the best trio of CBs in the league, it would be shortsighted to count on Makuba and Michael Carter to start. I wouldn't count on either of them right now. Howie repeating his mistakes from last year if he does that. Need a certifiable vet starter with NFL experience at safety. One at minimum. Then maybe chance it on the other spot.
Thursday at 11:45 PM3 days It wouldn’t be March without Eagles fans panicking about not having a safety.
Thursday at 11:46 PM3 days Build through the draft. Re-sign your stud players. Sign FAs to one year contracts. 🦅😬
Thursday at 11:46 PM3 days I'm shocked Howie let safety dry up like this. Yes you need to draft one, but between Hawkins, Brisker, Nick Cross, there's no reason one couldn't have been identified and signed.

Howie back to his old ways and de-valuing the safety position. 5.5 M for Brisker isn't even middle class. It is lower middle class.
