That's 6 weeks of ruling and still only 2 sacks on the season.

I guess we have replaced Phillips in the Mamula role for much cheaper.

Now he is playing adjacent to Carter, Davis, Oromo and opposite either Hunt or Nolan Smith. Your pessimism is significant. Minor step down from what we saw from Phillips and better availability.

What positions are the strength of the draft? TE, S, Edge and WR. That plays for the Birds. Some possible CB prospects as well as IOL. BPA playing well for the Birds.

Woolen > Adoree

Ebiketie > Uche/Ojulari

Howie is playing the comp pick game and I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't trade for any players until after the draft.

Today's the day the Goedert situation should clear up, right?

Leads the league in "almosts"

Phillips just got $30M/yr for a lot of almosts - but the contracts seem to speak for themselves.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Howie waited until the trade deadline - we seem very much positioned where we were last Spring along the DL.

What the hell

Bryce Huff is about to lose all his NFL money

All joking aside of a sports player retiring to deal with fire rick (a genuine LOL WTF moment), the business idea has potential because the ways to treat lithium battery fires are very limited. We had a massive fire over here in a "Vape Shop" that did a lot of damage and wasn't put out, rather than it went out. Why did it happen? The proprietor of the shop stored a bunch of small lithium batteries next to an electric fire. Goodbye to a building from the late 1890s.

I'd suspect he's looking at the EV/domestic storage end of the market as the ways to put the EV battery fires out are very limited as they don't go out with water - some chemical reactions reasons I sound like I know what I'm talking about - I don't, but I know someone that does who explained it in great detail.

Would I take my career earnings and be the big investor? Hell no.

I mean the goal is always to have a great free agency, you’re conflating "great” with spending a lot of money. Those two are not the same thing. You can have a great free agency and spend very little and a bad free agency and spend a lot. This would not be bad because they didn’t do a lot, it would be bad because of the players they added, money being poorly spent, and having to settle after missing out on top targets.

The goal is to address holes so they don’t have to go into the draft needing to draft to fill immediate needs.

I agree, if you're getting a Lamboghini, why on earth would you get an SUV Lambo?

He should take half of his money invest in lobbyists to pass city ordinances and building codes that require the lithium battery fir protection he's building.

I guess you can buy something with crypto outside of the darkwebs - good move for DG, bad move for generational wealth in the DG family.

With all the electric scooters flying around, it would be a concern for rental properties (and their neighbors).

The new guy needs a nickname to shorten that last name, how about Arn E?

Probably can't drive stick.

Reminder: free agency is not the primary way you build a roster. The goal is not to have a great free agency class, that means you drafted poorly and had to buy players. I know, I know you're going to say you appreciate all the great players they have and it's just that judging solely on the external signings you want to complain and say they suck. Well, look at all the teams who "win" free agency every year and don't win playoff games. If they spent money on external free agents then didn't have money for the core studs they need to pay, you'd complain about that too.

"Winning" free agency this year is keeping Davis, Mann, probably Goedert, extending Carter (coming soon?), adding a solid starting CB2 (we should be thrilled after last year's corner situation!) and some supplemental pieces and depth.

Winning free agency in 2016 got us a ring.

I'm trying to remember but I feel like there was a few guys we signed in 2024 that got us our second ring too......

Eagles signed three OLB last offseason. A bit to my surprise, the one that looked best in the PS was Okoronkwo. Tore his tricep and went on IR pretty early. He is still out there and probably can be had for the vet minimum. I could see that sort of move. I think the Jones signing is in that vein.

Not that it's a huge deal but Arnold likely cancels out the Dotson comp pick

Go get Greenard, Howie!

ANd if Goedert isn't done today then either the Eagles are penny pinching big time or Goedert's camp values him way beyond what he's worth. The precedent for players in his range has been set, and fairly IMO.

Yeah they can't afford another starter hole. And I feel like one more solid move needs to be done before the draft to give some freedom. That's probably more perception than reality but I'd still like to see it

Me? Sarcastic? Never!

We’re getting resolution on Goedert today right? Seem that could open the door for another move
