Well, Adams was basically only used as a red zone target. Maybe they feel like Brown is a big upgrade and they can save money moving on from Adams.

This AJ Brown trade is fantasy football BS. Not in the sense that it’s bs and won’t happen. In the sense that it’s bs fantasy football mentality from the Rams and Patriots.

These are both teams actively competing for a SB. They are like the tool in your neighborhood fantasy league trading for your best player and wants to send you 2 backups.

They want AJ Brown and they don’t want to take any hit on the compensation. They’ll never send a good player and they aren’t even willing to move on draft compensation. Stop taking their calls.

I think it makes a lot more sense for the Patriots than the Rams to do it but from the Eagles perspective the Rams have a lot of nice stuff.

I don't think Howie would hesitate to make the trade to the Rams if the price is better. Even with a Goedert extension, I don't think Howie trades AJ until he sees how the draft plays out.

If they can land the 13th overall pick for AJ along with another pick that would be a steal.

If the Rams really are engaged for AJ, you absolutely take them to the cleaners in a trade and nothing less. This is a team you see every year whether in the regular season or playoffs and a conference rival. I’m so tired of the people and mouth-pieces out there saying they need to trade him just for the sake of trading him. They immediately become a worse team without AJ and it doesn’t make sense from a cap standpoint to do it pre-June 1.

So if teams like NE and LAR want him, then pay the price. I agree with Howie standing his ground here and not acting like it’s a charity.

Imo not going to have puka, Adams and brown. Not enough targets. Plus they also have to pay nacua as he’s entering his last year of his rookie contract and aj is going to want a new contract after the year too

Only way it makes sense is brown is younger than Adams. Get brown extend him then trade Adams and save $20 mil in cap space and get a draft pick back.

I mentioned something similar. Said Adams and 13 for brown. The rams need to extend nacua as he enters last year of his rookie deal and brown is going to want a new contract next offseason as he only has $4 mil guaranteed left on his deal. Trading Adams helps the rams in this deal they clear $20 mil cap space to extend brown and nacua and nacua is getting top 3 wr money if not highest paid
