Aren’t the WRs supposed to block in this offense? So we have 170 lb, 160 lbs, and an unwilling 230 lbs blocking at wideout?

That's a nice improvement over Dotson IMO. Like this value a lot.

Meh. Not sure i see an upgrade unless he can return kicks

rather have kept dotson tbh

Well we did just re-sign I think 2 nonblocking TEs too. So at least we're consistent lol

I dig it. We have a great trio and I like Cooper.

Edge, safety, OL depth next

Lets rock and roll

It's all coming together.

Hollywood is overrated. Dotson is probably better.

I wouldn’t call it an upgrade. I think he gives you better over the top ability than Dotson (assuming he’s healthy and not washed which with his injuries he might be).

I'm ok with things so far even though I think 5 million for a safety would have been the better move. I get tired of people saying we have to sit on our hands though at the same time.

  1. Signed Wooley to upgrade CB2, last year's worst position on the roster

  2. Extended Davis

  3. Re-signed Mann

  4. Re-signed Goedert

  5. Signed a rotational Edge

  6. Signed a backup blocking TE

  7. Signed a depth corner

  8. Re-signed Calcaterra (ugh, I wanted him to leave)

  9. Signed WR3 Hollywood Brown

  10. Re-worked Michael Carter's contract

  11. Re-worked Dickerson's contract

So they're returning 11 starters on offense, and have to replace 1 starting safety which they will likely eventually sign Epps to fill that hole and draft someone, and otherwise need depth at some positions and to draft for injury coverage/future.

Rich irony coming from a trump loyalist…

Go back to your shanty. Talk less, listen more and maybe try to learn some things.

Maybe we'll actually get to use the 3rd receiver more with the new offense lol

Was thinking and hoping for the same thing. It’s easy to **** on Dotson but it’s not like we threw in his direction a lot.

I dont think either is very good, honestly.

Count me in with folks not very excited with Hollywood Brown. He's supposed to be a vertical threat but has a career 11.5 ypr? I can't ever remember watching him and being overly impressed.

I watched this same exact strategy play out in the 2025 off-season. Remind me how that worked out for the Eagles during the season.

The problem with the 2025 roster was the offensive coaching staff and the health of the O-line. Roster construction wasn't the big issue. I can see where the argument that Calcaterra wasn't capable of performing the job he was repeatedly asked to do. I see that as more of a coaching vs. roster issue. DE was an issue because of Nolan Smith's health more than a roster construction problem at the start of the season. This is where I think they could have kept Sweat but had made the decision to move on from him. Sweat may have been upset with the FO about the re-work of the prior deal. Again, Sweat wasn't the difference for the roster especially after the trade for Phillips.

Hollywood is just waiting to take #11

Agree, but point it out with a counterargument, don't just say Howie won us a SB and is above reproach, and stop crying if you don't like what he's done. To be clear I trust him and while I would have liked other moves and think he gets too cute at times I haven't been overly critical. It just bugs me when people say we have to sit on our hands. That's ridiculous.

That's what I did

Guessing this will be an "up to 10m" situation. No way they gave him 10m.

I like signing Brown better than signing Cooks. He's cheaper than signing Dotson.

And, if we're being honest, it was the coaching staff that kept running Jurgens out there when playing Toth was likely the better idea. Pryor at LG may not have worked, but he's better there than RT. I wonder what would have happened if they had played Toth at C to start the season and give Jurgens more time, and maybe even Pryor at LG to let Dickerson fully recover from his TC injury.

I’m in the fog of Disney and missed this if previously reported by someone else. We guaranteed $700,000 for Calcaterra to do nothing as a receiver and to actively sabotage blocking assignments?

i wouldn't guarantee that guy 10 cents. Was there really any type of FA market for that guy? Better to have used that money and some from another bum to sign Brisker.

Except you do the same queefing in the game day discussions too. Its just constant thoughtless whining and bishing.

You are a grumpy old man huh?

We also have new offensive coaches, curious how much influence their input is on roster decisions.

One fewer team for AJ Brown and if that's the price for Waddle, Howie is right in holding firm on his demands.

Wow that's a haul
