He is out of his freaking mind. With Johnson signing today I think it's been very solid. Yeah, safety is up in the air and they need and edge. That's about it. They'll sign a vet guard at some point.

CB2 is going to be better than people think and he added depth and lottery picks. Again, I wanted a 5 million dollar safety, but outside of that I'm not sure what else he could have done. He can draft BPA and he isn't done signing vets and making moves. I'm excited to see what they do.

His job is to get people "tuning in" or talking about him/the show. He succeeded.

Jets are gonna trade for brown and McKee.

Im a little bit excited about Elijah Moore.

It looks like he is disappointingly not a RAC guy. I expected more explosiveness from a little guy with 4.35 speed but he seems to lack the quick change of direction to make the CB miss after the catch.

Still, looks like a knack for getting open and reliable hands. Should be a reliable player. Maybe a better version of Zaccheus Im thinking.

If that’s the style of player you want (little guy with mid 4.3 speed and make you miss moves to take it to the house) Zachariah Branch is the guy.

Anyone with half a brain knows not to take him even remotely serious. His entire schtick is to be negative about the Eagles and Hurts to rage bait people into calling.

Still. That was bad even for him

Genuinely interested to hear the logic or rumours around this? I'd assumed that by signing Geno this offseason, they were gonna tank

He had a meltdown on his Rights to Ricky Sanchez podcast last August when they were doing pods about the day job of the different people who work for the pod. The other host asked about saying ridiculous stuff to drum up attention amd reaction and Spike got very defensive saying they don't do any of that ESPN Fordt Take stuff and had a mini meltdown. He genuinely takes himself as some very serious sports analyst who makes very serious statements on the radio.

Hard to get excited about that when QB1 is a 3 read qb. How many targets do you really think Moore and Hollywood will get a game? No more then 2

I know. I'm allowing my expectations to raise due to the new offense until Hurts shows me what he is again.

8 yards per carry

I didn't watch that dumb flag football crap. Saw the highlights. He looked like dog sheet per usual

Not using Bigsby more last year was criminal. He was better than Saquon.

I'm excited too. Elite practice squad player. Was so good at the practice squad Denver was forced to keep him there the whole time. Top 10 practice squad player of all time if you ask me.

My favorite part was in the playoff game when they used him on a touchdown drive early on which he was very effective on and then never went back to him again.

There are a few posters here that probably listen to that rage bait with a hard on.

Puka trying to increase AJ’s trade value

I think he was just very hungry...cant blame hime tho, cause his QB1 doesn't throw him ham sandwiches!

So I never disagreed with your math or any of the proformas you posted because it generally made sense to me and didn't see anything out of line. The only thing I disagreed was the chance % AJ could be traded pre-June 1.

With that said, I find it interesting that OTC and Spotrac both have the Eagles currently at $33M in cap space, including the Woolen signing along with all the other guys, as well as re-signing Goedert, Mann. That's enough to trade AJ now, have all those guys on the team, have $5M for rookies and $5M for in season and still be left over with $3M or so. They even have Dalton at his full $4M which could be adjusted to open up another $2M. Any idea how they got there? Obviously the Davis extension and Goedert re-signing helped but the other moves they made like Dickerson and Elliott pay cuts didn't seem to have that big of an impact.

So, my point was they couldn't trade AJ before June 1, but amended that after they redid DG's contract that they could technically do it now, but I still highly doubt it. Been buried at work, but assuming Spotrac is close at $33mm (and that's about where I am), that's around ~$23mm in functional cap space when backing out rookies and in-season. So if they trade AJB before June 1, they'd have ~3mm in functional cap space.

One thing to bear in mind, extending Jalen Carter would raise his cap number by about $3mm. And I expect them to do that this offseason.

I think if they trade AJB, it will be after June 1. First, I think Howie wants to split up the cap hit. Second, I think he wants 2027 picks.

Also, I think Howie is still working on edge. Maybe Greenard. If you don't want 2026 picks, zero reason to move AJB before June 1 and handicap yourself.

Future cap savings as well
