Once the Eagles had interior O line injuries and weren't as successful the narrative died. Also worth noting that the "push" element is not even what makes it work. They could take it away and still run a QB sneak with the same success if the interior O line and squat god QB are able to execute it. Last year proved it's the interior O line that make it work.

He's one of "my guys" I just love his game. He plays with a nastiness and he's fast enough. Not a burner, but will be a big YAC guy in the NFL and can get down field when he needs to.2nd round. 1st without the injury

March 25Mar 25 I want to come out of this draft with Bell and Klare. Having that high 3rd rounder really helps thanks to the Reddick trade.

He has most of his posts set to private.

March 25Mar 25 How come no love for Denzel Boston who some compare to Puka (minus the biting). Strong hands

He hasn't been posting since Lurie asked him not to. That's what fans wanted, for him to stop posting.
March 25Mar 25 Here's where we stand on the roster, in my opinion, as of today on the remaining roster holes:Edge - to me, this is the place most likely to see an impact add via trade. Greenard is the name mentioned most often, and I'm surprised it hasn't happened. Smith, Hunt and Ebeketie isn't nearly enough given Smith's trouble staying healthy. I know BG wants to play, but he's not someone to count on. If you want to go FA, then Reddick, Clowney, J. Bosa, Floyd, Fowler all still out there. I just don't think Howie jumps on any of those options given age and wear and tear, but maybe Fowler or Clowney makes sense. Safety - I know @T-1000 will have a stroke, but I think Vic likes Carter at safety. Mukuba, Carter and Epps isn't really inspiring, but I also don't really see great options via trade or FA. Not sure if Bates is really available.Interior O-Line: With Toth leaving, I don't know if we are OK with Kendall and Lampkin as the primary backups - hell, I don't know if either can play guard. Need to add one or 2 guys here. Does Bitonio want to chase a ring? Is Becton really back to all his bad habits?

Draft a safety in the first 3 rounds and hope for the best. Maybe another vet lottery pick after the draft.I could see a similar situation at guard. Get one in the first 3 rounds and sign a cheap vet.The FA vet options suck. Maybe they draft one high, but a trade with Minn or AZ makes the most sense to me.Howie has put them in a great position
March 25Mar 25 IMO in the draft their must haves:Edge player for the rotation, hopefully to be an eventual starter.TE to take over as starter next year when Goedert leaves, this is supposed to be a good TE class and they've had their eye on several (could take another TE on day 3 as well).OG to work behind Dickerson and take over when he's gone, may even be needed this season.Safety to add to the mix. Could be high pick and a starter, could be mid to late round to develop for depth we'll see which direction they go.When it comes to other positions:OT: if they see Lane's replacement they like in round 1, they'll take him, even trade up but the sense everyone has is this OT class isn't worth doing that. Having Fred Johnson allows them to take an OT day 2 or 3 and not have to reach if they don't love a guy in the 1st. They could save the 1st round OT pick for next year in a supposed stronger OT class.More O line depth: Versatile guys that can play more than 1 position or just 1 or 2 more O linemen as they need to get depth and get younger there, including UDFA. Howie likes to trade back on day 3 to collect extra picks, and can draft developmental linemen in the 6th and 7th.DT: depth and rotation for not only this season, but when Ojomo leaves next season. Ty Robinson hasn't shown anything yet.WR: not necessarily a real need given the signings, regardless of what happens with AJ Brown. But if it's a good WR draft class and the board falls their way then it could be good to grab one. They could also instead just double dip at TE and take a WR next year. Even if trading Brown, the top targets would be Smitty, Goedert, Hollywood Brown, rookie TE and Elijah Moore so a rookie wouldn't likely get many targets either way.Corner: would like to see another young corner to develop and for some depth. I don't like the corner depth very much.Kicker: could be an UDFA but Elliott needs competition.
March 25Mar 25 Unless I missed something, the only departing free agent who has not signed anywhere yet is CB Adoree' Jackson, correct? I wonder if they'll add him for depth. Maybe a post-draft signing if he's still available.
March 25Mar 25 I think that is Jones' role. Adoree might be an add if he played on STs coverage but he doesn't.
